Lovely traditional B&B along the quays, within easy walking distance of central Cork. Rooms were comfortable, hosts were welcoming but unobtrusive, with many helpful hints on where to find a meal and a friendly pint.
We were there during exceptionally hot weather in early July, but that obviously was not the owners' fault. Street noise and warm weather made sleeping difficult. There's no A/C but it's an older house and in Ireland you wouldn't expect that. Would be happy to return.

the breakfast was excellent.
would have been nice to get another breakfast option (cereal or veggie option). Also, there were strange tremors to be felt at regular intervals. At first I thought it might be an earthquake but given the frequency of the tremors it might have been trucks or buses on the nearby street.
