Screened back porch with bar height chairs, covered front porch with table and chairs.
Enclosed outside shower with hot and cold water, propane grill available, landscaped backyard with fire pit, beach cart, beach chairs and plenty of parking. Within 1000ft of Middleton Beach Store and beach access. Small in-ground pool and lounge area - completed April 2019. Pool open year round. No pool heater.
Two beach cruiser bikes, three beach carts, beach chairs, pool umbrellas, two picnic tables, new living room furniture for 2026. New granite countertop and backsplash in 2024, new AC in 2024.

This was our first time vacationing on Oak Island, and it lived up to our expectations. The house is in a fantastic location (5 min walk to the beach, and 10-15 min drive to each end of the island). The pool was wonderful - we were surprised how deep it was (up to shoulders/chest on a 5 foot 5 in adult) at the far end. Would definitely rent the location again.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Seashell Cottage. The location is very convenient to the beach and a lovely walking trail. The pool in the backyard is a nice addition.
