Great place to relax and tour the Mosel valley

Bruttig-Fankel is a charming village and well-connected with bus routes, boat trips and a local firm hiring bikes (literally 1 min walk from the property). There is a good bakery and outdoor cafe in the square and a bar near the river, both are good to relax at. There are also a few restaurants if you want to eat out. I recommend Joe's bar, which is in the village and has a good selection of Mosel wines to try and enjoy with food. The property is excellent, immaculate with tasteful décor and a choice of balcony and patio areas for sitting and eating outside. The owners have put a lot of thought into what is needed for holiday accommodation. I recommend this place highly! The owners also provided travel cards for using the public transport (buses and trains). It is a really good way to tour the local area. Hiring electric bikes in the village is another good way to tour and the route along the Mosel is beautiful, with lots of villages to visit.

I cannot find any fault with this place and I would like to visit again.

The house was exceptional. I have stayed in lots of different places and this has been the best. The facilities, the cleanliness were absolutely wonderful. I would definitely recommend this property and hopefully can visit again next year.

Great place to stay next to the Mosel

The hostess was extremely helpfull and friendly: we travelled with 3 kids of 2 years and younger and she ensured there were 3 babybeds and babychairs! Parking lot right in front of the house. Everything we needed was available in the apartment.

No big improvements needed: we really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in a week with temperatures going up to 40degC. An airco system would have been a great comfort addition.

Geweldige woning in prachtige omgeving

Prima verblijf gehad en leuke plek om de Moezel omgeving te verkennen.

Mooi, ruim appartement. Zeer schoon en praktisch ingericht. Je hebt zowel de mogelijkheid om boven op de 1e verdieping buiten te gaan zitten of het ruime terras op de begane grond.

De twee slaapkamers onder het schuine dak kunnen zeer warm worden. Misschien overwegen om daar airco’s te plaatsen? De 1e verdieping daarin tegen is heerlijk koel!

Goed verblijf voor een weekje aan de Moezel

Lokatie lag in zijstraatje van pleintje. Bakker en fietsverhuur om de hoek. Supermarkt op 800 meter is ook prima. In de nabije omgeving kan je lekker wandelen in de bergen en fietsen langs de Moezel. Cochem ligt op 5 km en een bezoek aan het kasteel daar is de moeite waard. E bikes bij verhuurbedrijf zijn van goede kwaliteit. Voor het fietsen langs de Moezel heb je aan een normale fiets genoeg maar als je de bergen ingaat heb je echt een E bike (of racefiets) nodig. Van de hostess krijg je een kaartje waarmee je gratis met de bus kan reizen. Is makkelijk als de wandeltocht 1 richting is. Verder zijn er wat restaurantjes in het dorpje. De parel van Moezel is grappig en eenvoudig. Jo's bar vonden wij niets. Maar in de vele kleine plaatsjes langs de Moezel zijn genoeg leuke restaurantjes te vinden. De hangbrug bezoeken met een wandeling bij Geierlay is ook heel leuk. Appartement is ruim, schoon en voorzen van alle basiszaken. Je kan buiten op het balkon of in de tuin zitten. Garage voor je fietsen naast het appartement is handig. Kortom, helemaal prima.

Tsja, weet eigenlijk niets. Plaatsje zelf is niet veel te doen.
