The inside was nice, it was clean, well stocked and had everything you needed. A little off putting that theres a random door/room you cant use, and the neighborhood is quite loud even when the windows are all closed. Its not far from some really cool spots, and while the trains are noisy, having a station 5 minutes away was a convenience.

Tony’s condo is well stocked with kitchen supplies, towels, pillows, Comfortable furniture and 2 patios! The view of the lit Parthenon at night from the living room never got old. A 5- minute walk to the metro station meant easy access to all the places we wanted to explore during our 5 days in Athens. The several questions I had were promptly answered by Tony. This is a perfect location for 2 people to stay in Athens. I would highly recommend.

Lovely apartment that is exactly as described. To sit and look at the Parthenon on top of the Acropolis from the patio or inside us incredible. Good move by Tony having a mirror on the wall that reflects the Parthenon while sitting. The Gazi neighborhood has a lot going on around there with many restaurants and bars. The Acropolis is about a 40 minute stroll. The National Archaeology Museum is about the same. We never felt unsafe walking at night. The apartment was used as our base as we took side trips to Santorini and Nafplio. We would definitely stay here again. Local finds. Rizos bakery half block behind apartment. Syntrimmi restaurant 10 minute walk. Local restaurant with best sea bass I have ever had for 9. Other dishes were delicious also. Get the roast potatoes with garlic mayonnaise. Thank you to Tony for being such a great host with helpful tips

The Acropolis is always in full view from this well-equipped, comfortable apartment. It has a comfortable bed, a spacious modern kitchen and nice bathroom and shower. The property owner is very responsive at all times and, in fact, very helpful with restaurant and entertainment and travel recommendations. Plus, the property is only a five-minute walk away from the Metro station with easy access to all parts of the city.

I’ve never been in an ABB with more of the necessities for living. You will lack for nothing here. The kitchen has everything. TV was great from the really comfortable couch. View to the Acropolis was terrific. The shower was huge compared to any others we’ve had in Greece. The patio was very nice, but too much road noise. It was comparatively quiet inside. Very convenient location, it was less than 10 minute walk to the tram which is cheap, easy to use, and takes you everywhere. Ticket machines are easy to use. Love this place, we could live here.

This lovely modern and updated penthouse truly has a beautiful view of the Acropolis. Nothing in the vicinity is very beautiful, but we found a Grocer and several restaurants less than 10 minutes to walk and many restaurants 15 minutes away; some not listed in Google. We did Uber to the Acropolis but it is possible to walk. The kitchen is fully appointed with cookware, glassware, and china. You could prepare a gourmet meal in this kitchen. There is even a washing machine. The host was readily available by VRBO chat app and we would highly recommend!

It felt like home staying in this well appointed apartment. The location was perfect as we could jump on the metro and go most places we needed to. We did not use a taxi once. Best of all the view of the Acropolis was magnificent!

The view of the Acropolis was definitely the best part! It was great. There were also some great food places within walking distance. The only downside was the bed. It wasn’t the most comfortable and the sheets were pretty worn and pilled. Otherwise, Antonio communicated great and was so kind and accommodating! We would for sure come back and stay.

Only our 2nd VRBO booking, but very impressed with this apartment and host. This really is a home from home. Absolutely everything you could possibly need, and more, to make our stay seamless. Perfect location for metro which was clean, efficient and cheap to get around Athens. Very handy booklet in the apartment with excellent recommendations for food, and the host was very quick and helpful to provide any additional information. Would definitely recommend this host and apartment and if we return to Athens, we will definitely stay here again.

Location was so perfect, walking distances to so many cafes and restaurants. Apartment had Everything you could need and the host Antonio’s I have never had a better host. I seemed to bug him for questions as this was our first trip to Greece and he answered all very quickly made suggestions and even made reservations for us for dinner at his fav restaurant. There aren’t enough stars for him.

Let me just say that this VRBO in Athens was amazing! The check-in was easy (just keep turning that key and all the bar locks will disengage), the neighborhood was fabulous (research the Gazi/Technopolis neighborhood - so many nice cafes and restaurants.) The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for eating in. (There is a grocery store about 3 or so blocks down the main road on the right). It is a very safe neighborhood and all the locals were friendly. And the view….WOW! I could sit on that beautiful patio and look at that view of the Acropolis 24 hours a day!!! The Metro stop (Karameikos) is two blocks from the apartment. You simply turn left out of the front door, then left at the next street, left onto the main street, go down two blocks to the light and cross over towards the train tracks (these are light rail whisper quiet cars and they do not run at night). Cross the train tracks, go past the Crema Cafe on your right and the metro entrance will be up a few steps on your left. Easy peasy! Just print out a map of the subway system and use it as a reference. It’s very easy to get around and most of the architectural sites are one or two stops away. As a VRBO owner myself (The Cozy Moose Cabin in Purlear, NC), I always set the bar very high for each VRBO home we book and Tony did not disappoint! Tony is an amazing host and was so helpful and kind. He truly cares that his guests can just relax and enjoy their stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Some great restaurants within walking distance We walked everywhere to most of the neighborhoods. Nothing is too far away. We really enjoyed staying here! The apartment was spacious and had a great view of the parthenon. It was within walking distance of all the ancient greek history spots we toured. There's plenty of great restaurants nearby too. Tony was an excellent host, easy to communicate with and helpful. I recommend staying here!

We stayed in this apartment for about a month and loved every minute of it! We spent half our time working remotely, and the space was large enough for both of us to work comfortably! The other half of our time was day and overnight trips, using the apartment as home base! The location was great, we learned the metro and other transportation easily! Loved the Tuesday morning farmers market steps outside our door for fresh fruits and veggies! Antonio was an amazing host and answered questions and gave useful suggestions promptly and was so friendly! One small maintenance issue came up and it was fixed in a day! The apartment had great supplies/equipment for an extended stay! Just as advertised! We highly recommend this rental! Thanks for everything Antonio!

Our second stay at this wonderful place - you really feel as if you’re in someone’s home, with everything you need for a great stay. The kitchen in particular is so well equipped we ended up eating in for two nights despite a good choice of eating places a short walk away. The location is just outside the main tourist centre but it’s an easy walk, or one or two stops on the metro, and you really feel you are seeing a different side to Athens. The beds are comfortable, air conditioning efficient, and there is - as pictured - a good view of the Acropolis from the balcony. Since our last visit there has been double glazing installed (and bug screens) which cut out the street noise. On top of all this Antonio was a great host who responded promptly and went over and above the call of duty when we left something behind. We very much hope to return.

I really enjoyed my stay here, the host was patient and kind and the place itself was very clean and beautiful with lots of amenities. I’m not sure why other people were complaining about the neighborhood, yes it has some graffiti and stuff, but all of Athens is like that. There’s a lock on the building and another lock on the apartment door, then even more locks on the bedroom and bathroom doors. I was a woman alone and I never felt unsafe. The neighborhood is quiet, and most people I saw there were older locals and twenty somethings who minded their business and were very kind when we did interact. There are loads of restaurants, cafes, and shops nearby, and the walk fo the Acropolis and all of the other archeological sites and museums is short and very easy. It’s pretty much a straight shot and hard to mess up. I’m super happy with how much I paid for the quality of the building, service from the host, amenities, and neighborhood. I’d definitely recommend staying here and if I’m ever in Athens again I’ll stay another time.

The property was exactly as advertised. He was very helpful in getting us checked in. We got a little bit lost trying to find the directions but someone in the neighborhood helped us. Walking around the location to the metro was fantastic. I would stay there again! Everything was wonderful.

The locks and mechanisms are different as we are not in our country, so we had some issues trying to operate stuff but the host was quick to respond, and made me feel good even though I felt like an idiot. on a 1-5 rating i give this hose a 10.
