Or spend the day at the Family Kingdom oceanfront water park. The downtown Skywheel is less than a mile away from the resort where you can take a ride in one of their air-conditioned gondolas and see Myrtle Beach as you have never seen before. And at dusk, the Skywheel begins its light show. With over 1 million LED lights, the display can be seen up and down the boardwalk. 2018 Beach Renourishment Project
The Grand Strand is known for its 60 miles of beaches. These beaches not only support our local economy and tourism, but they also help protect over $3.5 billion worth of shorefront property and provide critical habitat for sea turtles, shore birds, and other marine wildlife. To protect our valuable beaches and minimize the impact of recent storm damage, a beach renourishment project began in 2017, pumping sand onto Surfside, Garden City and North Myrtle Beaches. In August 2018, a new project will begin and place approximately 1.4 million cubic yards of material on Myrtle, North Myrtle, Garden City and Surfside Beaches.
The 2018 beach renourishment project will begin in August. The nourishment will include approximately eight miles on Myrtle Beach, four miles on Surfside and Garden City Beaches and two miles on North Myrtle Beach. Details on the starting location and direction the project will move in have not yet been finalized. The project will be completed no later than December 15th.

The condo was absolutely amazing and beautiful. The views were exactly like the picture. The property owner was super nice and always responded quickly. I really wish you could pick this condo up and place it on a different beach. Obviously its not the owners fault but the city could really do some upkeep with cleaning up the surrounding areas. Its a shame because the property itself was great but the company other hotels around keep wasn't the best. I would definitely rent from the owner again just not at Myrtle Beach.

Check-in was extremely easy. Keys and service were available immediately. The view form the 15th floor, looking out over the ocean was spectacular. There was only one very minor glitch. When we arrived some of the towels had Mae-up stains on them. When addressed,Jennifer got back to us right away and got us new/clean towels. But most omportantly, my 2 grandchildren, ages 6 & 7 had a blast. The unit is right in the heart of all the action (Krispy Kreme is 2 blocks away..LOL). Had a great time and wouldn't hesitate staying here on my next trip to Myrtle beach.

The location of this property is amazing. 10-20 minutes from all major attractions and a beautiful oceanfront location. The beach was steps away. The pool area was beautiful and perfect for our 5 and 2 years olds. There were only a handful of rafts for the lazy river. The elevators could have been cleaner and the second floor bathroom was unusable due to how dirty it was, which was quite a pain to have to go all the way to the 15th floor in wet swimsuits to take the kids to the bathroom. The 15th floor is one of the only privately owned floors in the building so no maintenance was available when the toilet wasn’t working. There was not a plunger available in the unit either. The kitchen was outdated and the kitchen/dining area was quite cramped. So the one side of the table was unusable. Parking was great. There weren’t very many luggage carts available though which made several trips needed at times. Overall we would absolutely stay here again. Probably not with as many people. The living areas were just too tight. We would also be interested in looking at other units at this same property.
