Without any exaggeration, this was one of the most beautiful hotel experiences we have had in recent years. Exceptional service, genuinely kind people, stunning rooms, absolute tranquility, and a restaurant that deserves every compliment it receives. Dinner was not simply a meal - it was pure gastronomic bliss. What impressed us most was the feeling of being truly welcomed. Not as guests passing through, but as people the team genuinely cared about. A place where luxury feels effortless, where silence becomes part of the experience, and where every detail contributes to a feeling of well-being. Thank you for a truly unforgettable stay. A stunning property featuring a smooth blend of castle charm and minimalistic architecture in the heart of nature. You only have to put on your hiking shoes and off you go! After a long walk, slip into a bathrobe to relax in the spa, which offers a peaceful view of the Lesse from the sauna. Naturally, this works up a healthy appetite. Whether you choose a casual outfit or something more fancy, you can dine at either their Lounge or the gastronomic restaurant Arden: I suggest trying both, as each is perfectly balanced in its own way. Perhaps the most decisive reason to return is the service: truly impeccable from check-in until the very last moment. It’s grand palace treatment in the charming village of Rochefort. Top-notch!

If I have to be truly critical and look for a "downside" in such a top-tier experience, it would simply be that it’s so hard to leave! When the only negative is having to trade your soft bathrobe and panoramic sauna for everyday life, you know the stay was a success!

Very beautiful property

The rooms are really small and spartanly furnished - considering the price. Our room was not clean and unfortunately showed serious signs of wear and tear. The staff was overly attentive to the point of being annoying and sometimes poorly organized. Lots of attitude, little substance. Please keep in mind that the hotel is located in a very remote area. Apart from the very expensive menu in the Michelin-starred restaurant, there was no other option for eating at the hotel. So you have to drive a long distance, for the next restaurant. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio was not at all reasonable. Overall, I would like to see more down-to-earthness and reasonable prices.
