The location is fantastic — just a 5-minute drive or a pleasant 25-minute walk to Port de Pollença. The surrounding area is quiet, with other villas nearby, making it a peaceful base for exploring. The view from the terrace is truly wonderful, and it’s easy to relax outdoors in the Mediterranean sunshine.

However, the villa itself is very dated and in need of refurbishment. On arrival, we noticed one of the bedroom air conditioning units was rattling loudly and, on inspection, was full of mould. I contacted Owl Booking via WhatsApp, and they responded promptly, arranging for the owner to fit a brand new unit, which was much appreciated. Unfortunately, the owner then began arriving at the property almost daily, always unannounced — once while I was in a state of undress. I raised this again with Owl Booking, who were understanding and asked the owner to stop visiting. The interior is very traditional but suffers from outdated and poor-quality facilities. The kitchen is particularly under-equipped: the oven is old and doesn’t function properly (no working light or reliable temperature), the knives are blunt, there’s only one small chopping board, cheap 1980s-style wine glasses, and just three mugs. There’s no electric kettle or decent coffee machine. The BBQ is charcoal rather than gas. Other furnishings are similarly tired — the sofa feels about 30 years old and is in poor condition, and the TV is very old, with no channels, internet connection, or streaming capability. Overall, the villa’s location and outdoor views are excellent, and Owl Booking were responsive when contacted, but the property itself is overdue for a thorough renovation and update to bring it in line with modern holiday expectations.
