Monkey Fingers House by Fatima mellal

The rooms were fine although bare bones. Would be nice to have a lamp by the bed. Lots of places to lounge and read, nice atmosphere. The outdoor space was lovely and the view was stunning. We were able to hand wash our clothes and hang them to dry on the patio which was nice. Fatima was very friendly and all the staff were great. The dining area was large but very uncomfortable chairs as the table edge as too low to get you knees under. The place was clean and breakfast was good. If you want to be smack dab in the monkey fingers, this is the place. We had to roll our luggage up to the hotel as there is no road to get closer. Views of the village are rocks were worth it.

We stayed at Monkey Fingers by Fatima for two nights after reading many positive reviews. Fatima and her team was welcoming, and the stay overall was okay, but there are a few things future guests might want to be aware of. Overall, it may suit travelers looking for a simple, rustic experience, but those seeking more comfort or easy access might want to keep these points in mind.

The house is quite old, which adds some character but also means the facilities are fairly basic. Our room did not have air conditioning, and there was no cleaning service during our stay. Access to the house can be a bit challenging, especially at night. The lane leading to the property is very narrow and not well lit, which made it difficult to drive in without concern for the car. Additionally, there were wild dogs near the stream behind the house that were barking and howling throughout the night, which made it hard to sleep.

Fatima was a great host; very friendly and her art is beautiful! Location is literally in front of the Monkey Fingers and dinner was tasty.

It was really cold in the room (no form of heating), a small bed for two adults and the bathroom was more basic than expected. It was a bit hard to access with 2 large suitcases from the parking.
