Jacuzzi is not great, the stay was not worth the price

It has a great view, the room was clean

There was no hot water, the jacuzzi didn’t have hot water, the jacuzzi was not stable and the water level kept decreasing when the jets are on and the jacuzzi is in use. No curtains or blinds for the big windows so it was hard to sleep in the morning. They didn’t tell us that they would be changing our room, and when we called them to get to the bottom of it, the lady was not helpful and she was rude.

При укажување на проблемот, реакцијата на сопственичката беше малку со повишен тон, иако немавме никаква намера да ја навредиме во никој случај, туку само да укажеме на реален недостаток. Со подобрување на кујната и покоректна комуникација, сместувањето би било одлично. На крај малку и ја средивме кујната чисто само да ублажиме ситуација затоа што знаеме дека понекогаш и тие се судираат со секаков тип на луѓе и гости и губат трпение. 🥰

We didn't like the fact that the kitchen is outside the apartment, so we suggest that you put in a small kitchen area next time.

Expected a lot more

The view is nice

We were here in spring and there was no one there, on the reception nor in the whole place. You just go in the villa and the owners told us( when we called them on their cellphone) to take the room key and let ourselves in. The owners are not there, we never saw them and anyone could easily walk in the back yard, the whole place is wide open without any staff and that is quite accessible to anyone. Also, the road should be fixed.

The owners of the property didn't show up at the place, they were making some excuses just to not shown up. I was waiting for 3 hours just to waste my time! Never again! Not serious enough, the management is poor and they are liars!!

Major Catastrophe

I am going to make it as short and concise as possible. Which will be be a lot either way. Many, many more words could be lost on this accommodation nonetheless but it would only honor it with much time spent. The ONLY reason why this review is having two stars, is the grand view across the mountains and Berovsko Lake from the window in our room. The negative aspects truly outweigh everything else: Booking com said we can check in by 12 noon. For a fact, it is 1 p.m. And the lady cleaning our room (as well as hosting) arrived even later than that although she promised our room to be ready on time via message from that day. After all, we had to wait more than 45 minutes even AFTER the check-in time. The room was having instantly apparant flaws: loose cables hanging from the walls, the water taps from both the jacuzzi and the bathroom were barely attached anymore, one showering head was basically trash, no showering curtain whatsoever on the pole, mould on the walls near the jacuzzi, the bathroom mirror was broken to a degree, and more. Although the house policy says that guests need to keep a quiet habit after 7 p.m, no discipline was given. Guests in the other - of two - jacuzzi room were literally using the insanely noisy features of the jacuzzi with a.) starting at 3 a.m and going until no less than 5 p.m, and b.) starting by 11.30 p.m and going until 3.30 a.m (and not ending by the way). I had informed the hosts that I would like them to inform incoming guests that the whole house is shaking the whole night. That is where the next negative aspect comes into play:

The hosts are none-existent. The house is generally abandoned by them. Once in a while they show up to clean rooms of people who left. Other than that, they are not reachable. They are not situated nearby and telling from the time distance they pass, they must live quite far away. I have seen a lot but a hotel NOT having any customer service by nature is uniquely bad. On the second day, the water went completely down. Like: no water at all. For three hours before we departed outside the building. We wrote a message, we told them directly as they surprisingly showed up, oh wonder, just to clean an empty room. Their reaction was stunning: a bigger punch of ambivalence could have not been possible. Luckily enough, we returned to somewhat solidly running water after returning but I am more than sure that this was due to temparatures rising and the pipes going easier. If the temperatures stayed that low, we would have been deprived. A "customer is king"-mentality: zero points. Overall, the last day made us flee this setting. The consciously abandoned house causing guests to do whatever they want, just gave us the rest. The icing on the cake being noise levels so high during the night that every normal person goes mad from it. We left ahead of time in the middle of the night and every minute we saved outside this horror mansion, was worth it. I informed them about this decision also; the clue: no one ever bothered to give an apology or any answer at all for that matter. I guess we were only considered piggy banks which need to be squeezed and that's it. Devastating. Whatever your choice will be: we urge you not to visit "Lake Palace" under any circumstances. Unless you are in for checking out complete failures for Social Media or something. No one deserves this treatment and the owners deserve no good word at all. To break a long story short: this place is certainly among the very worst accommodations in beautiful Macedonia.

Pleasant

The location and the view were amazing. The apartment was spacious and the owners and the staff were nice. There is a beautiful yard with bbq and a kitchen (both inside and outside).

The water was a little bit yellowish and the jacuzzi wasn’t clean. There were some green and black things coming from the massagers, but I guess that’s because it wasn’t used for a while🤷🏻‍♀️

Awful

The first impression when entering in the room was the bad smell, terrible I would say. There was so much dust all over the place, on the shelves, on the floor, especially under the bed. Also there were pair of sock under the bed. The sheets did not seem to be freshly washed. There was no warm water in the shower, not in the morning, not even in the evening. I had to shower with cold water. Also there was just one small piece of toilet paper, and no socket for hairdryer. The room don’t have hairdryer. The kitchen was ‘equipped’ with very old and hardly ever cleaned dishes. Outside the window, there were rotten apples and ashtray with cigarette butts. Despite the fact that the windows are double-sided, there were no curtains and the sense of privacy is lost. And the last and most important, there was no disinfectant in the time of pandemic with COVID-19.

Velmi nezvyklý nocleh, neodpovídal popisu

Okolí. Vtipné vybavení pokoje ze surového dřeva. Vysoká a příjemně tvrdá postel.

Namísto prázdninového domu jsme dostali pokoj v hotelu. Vířivka nebyla (prý za příplatek 100% v apartmánu), bazén bez schůdků či žebříku, nečištěné stěny. Pokoj nedokončený - elektroinstalace, scházející záclony/závěs v přízemí!! Kuchyňka s fejkovým dřezem a žádným vybavením. WiFi slabá a pouze v restauraci. Na pokoji se nepodařilo přes hodinovou snahu vůbec připojit. Jezero prakticky nedostupné někde hluboko pod strání, ani jsme jej neviděli.
