Apartment located next to the tourist district of Graça, where are located the most beautiful viewpoints of Lisbon (Senhora do Monte and Graça) from where you can see São Jorge Castle, downtown Lisbon and the Tagus River, and some of the most emblematic monuments. Religious of Lisbon
(Monastery of Saint Vincent, Church of Grace, Church of Santa Engrácia), monuments such as the National Pantheon where is held on Tuesday and Saturday the Portuguese Marché aux Puces Flea Market the Museums of Water and Tile.
The Graça neighborhood is next to the famous Alfama district where the Fado Museum is located and where many restaurants where live Fado is held every night.
The Graça district is the starting point and arrival of the famous tram 28.
The house was completely refurbished in August 2017 and is located on the ground floor of a building facing the Tagus River, has a total area of around 160 m2 and consists of living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 toilet, terrace and a garden. 80 m2 with fruit trees and natural vegetation, with plenty of sun exposure and night lighting and a 15m2 deck with dining table and rest area.
One of the bedrooms, the kitchen and the living room have windows overlooking the street and river visibility, are equipped with all the necessary equipment for a comfortable stay in the cosmopolitan city of Lisbon, such as stove, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, TV with a multitude of channels and wireless internet.
The bedroom sleeps 2 people in a double bed consisting of independent modules and has 2 bedside tables with lamps and hanger, chest of drawers and mirror.
The living room has a chaise longue and a sofa bed that can additionally accommodate 2 people.
The other bedroom that communicates with the backyard has 2 single beds accommodating 2 people, and has bedside table, mirror hanger, wardrobe and a sofa.
Both bedrooms have air conditioning equipment.
On the terrace, with an area of 15 m2, there is a table and two tables and bench that can accommodate 6 people.
The natural garden has been designed, due to its extensive area, its sun exposure and the freshness coming from the fruit trees and natural vegetation, to be a place of rest and leisure and where you can enjoy a good meal in the pleasant evenings provided by Lisbon climate.
The garden has full night lighting and electrical outlets.
Parking is free and easy on the street which is quiet in its frequency.
The house is set in an area of middle class people and is within walking distance 12 minutes from the neighborhood of Graça, the National Pantheon, the Monastery of St. Vincent, the flea market, the viewpoint of Monte (the most beautiful in Lisbon) , 8 minutes from the Water Museum and Santa Engrácia Church, 20 minutes from the main train station (Santa Apolónia) and the Fado Museum, where the Alfama district begins, and also 20 minutes from São Jorge Castle and 25 minutes from the Tile Museum.
In addition to tram 28 there are many other forms of public transport serving the area around the house and there is always the possibility of using the taxi service, Uber or other similar platforms.
In the neighborhood of Graça and in the immediate vicinity of the house there is a very significant amount of restaurants, not only of Portuguese cuisine, but also Italian, Indian, French, etc.
Due to their relevance and proximity, we can already mention the restaurant Pitéu (Portuguese cuisine) and Cervejaria Ramiro (the Portuguese ex libris in seafood), but many others are within easy reach.
In addition to the lively entertainment of the nearby Alfama district, specifically Fado, the proximity of Lisbon's city center makes the main cultural activity no more than 10 minutes by taxi.
As for nightlife, the main night club in Lisbon (LUX) is located near Santa Apolónia station and the tourist cruise terminal, and 20 minutes from the house.

We didn’t rent a car so we didn’t need to park. There are little stores and cafe’s around the corner. José’ was great in welcoming us with wine and treats and information about the area.

We had a wonderful time at this property! The hosts were extremely accommodating. Gave us a warm welcome and tutorial when we arrived. They were always prompt in answering our questions. Short walk to the bus and small local shops.

Lovely property ideal situated to access Lisbon. The property was clean and comfortable and the outside area was amazing. Joana was very approachable and helpful.

We had a lovely family holiday staying in the apartment and visiting the many sights in the area. It was our first time to Lisbon and we found there was plenty to see. The apartment is in a quiet residential location but not far from a frequent bus service to the centre of Lisbon. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in Graca square which is not far away. Jose was very welcoming and knowledgeable. He lives close by so was available if we had any questions. The apartment is well equipped and very nicely furnished. We enjoyed sitting out in the garden which was pleasantly laid out..We would definitely recommend the apartment and Jose as a host. Thank you very much and hope to come back again one day.
