Wonderful 6 nights stay at Haus Muhlenbach.

We stayed at Haus Muhlenbach for 6 nights (5/30 - 6/5/2025). The house has 2 floors and a newly renovated "basement" with bedroom, kitchen/nook, family/living room. Even though, it's technically a "basement", there are plenty of windows and even access to the garden area. An extra bed was set up in the family room for our son. The owners, Bernd and Monika Stemmler, live above on the first floor. They are super nice people that have kept this place in immaculate condition. This is the first time we have stayed in an Air BNB style lodging but liked it very much and would consider staying here again in the future. Another nice aspect of the stay is the easy and quick access to a bakery and supermarket. We had a rental car and parking was no problem at Haus Muhlenbach either.

Everything was perfect, the appartment is big, it has all the facilities you can think of. We spend there the most wonderful Christmas holidays. The hosts are very friendly and polite, they welcomed us with fruits and sweets and it was very kind of them. Some day we'll come back here again 😊

Absolut liebevoll und sehr empfehlenswert mit einer kleinen Familie!

Die Wohnung war komplett neu und sehr ansprechend eingerichtet. Auch mit kleinem Kind bot sie ausreichend Platz und alles Nötige war Vorort, auf Anfrage sogar ein Kinder-Reisebett. Die Lage war optimal, da viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten mit nur wenigen Fahrminuten erreichbar waren. Ein paar km weiter erwartete uns sogar Schnee und bis nach Monschau war es nur eine knappe Stunde. Sehr empfehlenswert für kleine Familien. Wir würden auf jeden Fall noch einmal dorthin kommen!

Excellent séjour

Nous avons tout aimé. Accueil très chaleureux, corbeille de fruits, petits gâteaux de Noël. Il y a absolument tout dans l appartement. Les lits sont très confortables également. L appartement est très bien situé et c'est très pratique pour visiter la région et se rendre à phantasialand. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir ! Merci beaucoup à nos hôtes pour leurs conseils et gentillesse

Die Wohnung war sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es ist alles da was man gebrauchen könnte. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und offen für Fragen. Besonders aufmerksam fand ich dass es Wasser und ein Obstkorb zur Begrüßung gab. Von der Lage aus kann man schön spazieren oder Wandern gehen. Kurzer Weg zur Zilkurrat, falls man dort an einer Weiterbildung teilnimmt.

Wohlfühloase

Sehr sympathische Gastgeber. Obwohl wir zum ersten Mal dort waren, wurden wir wie Freunde empfangen. Dieser Eindruck zog sich wie ein roter Faden durch unseren Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist geschmack- und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Obstkorb zur Begrüßung hat leider nicht lange gehalten, da das Obst so frisch und gut war, dass wir es ratzfatz verputzt haben. Ebenso die Naschereien. Es fehlte wirklich an nichts. Im Gegenteil. Gewürze, Tee und Kaffee, Essig, Öl, Kaffeefilter, Müllbeutel, Putzmittel usw. ausreichend vorhanden. Ebenso war im Bad alles vorhanden. Tolle Hand- und Badetücher usw. Die Fotos sind nicht beschönigt, es sieht wirklich so aus. Sehr gutes TV. Ich konnte am schönen Schreibtisch sitzen und das kostenlose WLAN nutzen.

Ich kann mir beim bestem Willen nicht vorstellen, was man optimieren könnte,

Sehr gepflegt, alles ordentlich und sauber. Hier ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Liebevoller Empfang, mit Fruchtkorb und Mineralwasser. Nettes Gespräch mit den Besitzern. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt 😘 Herzlichen Dank für den angenehmen Aufenthalt 👌

Netter Empfang, Willkommensplausch und Einweisung in die Wohnung+ Empfehlungen der Gegend. Der Obstkorb ist Klasse und macht einen Unterschied, weiter so.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch die empathischen Gastgeber. Mineralwasser und Obstkorb waren zur Begrüßung bereitsgestellt. Die Ferienwohnung ist komplett, aus unserer Sicht liebevoll und perfekt ausgestattet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Hilfreich waren die konkreten Hinweise zu touristischen Zielen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Einkehrmöglichleiten. Für uns eine Unterkunft erster Wahl.
