Gotuhus - Ocean View Apartment

The location was to die for, and we greatly enjoyed visiting the hostel in Rif for breakfast.

The bedroom has insufficient lighting and the plug in wall lights take up the only outlet beside the bed. Luckily there was an extension cord in the living room we could use, but a unit this nice should have real lights in the bedroom, not some wonky plug ins with mile long cords.

Excellent location right by the ocean (we were visited by quite a few seals!), which is also ideal to enjoy an evening walk around Hellissandur to admire all the cool murals. We had an issue with the stove and the property managers were very responsive.

Dishwasher was out of order, which is something we only realized after doing some pretty ambitious cooking. Some shower gel in the bathroom would have been appreciated.

The location overlooking the sea ,and nice touches such as leaving beer and wine

Our booking included breakfast , The breakfast was at a different location about 3km away . We drove down to have breakfast and found a group of people waiting to have breakfast but nobody had turned up to provide breakfast . After waiting for a while we eventually gave up and had to buy breakfast elsewhere , no apology no refund .

the location is great to see the Northern Lights and the bed is comfortable.

I had a terrible experience staying at this accommodation. The biggest issue was the heating - it barely worked at all. I was constantly shivering in the living room and had to wear multiple layers just to stay warm. The host installed an air heater that helped heat up the living room however over the night we turned it off as we didn't want to risk an accident and by the next morning the living room was freezing cold. Not to mention the ridiculously high price for what guests are being offered. It was a poor stay and I would not recommend this place.
