Villa Dua - Experience Bali without breaking the bank!

This was the first of four hotels that we chose and intentionally picked this rustic and secluded option so that we could “ease in” to vacation with some intense REST the first few days after a long haul flight from the US. Paul was very responsive to any questions that we had prior to traveling and booking Charlie to come pick us up at the airport was a great decision - but Grab and Gojek apps are a must to get around from this remote address (unless you want to drive or scooter yourself, which we did not). Even though remote, drivers easily found Villa Anjing. All the dinner recommendations that owners made were absolutely terrific and appreciated. The villas are rustic, but clean and the a/c and Wi-Fi were strong and appreciated. The villa’s plunge pool was a relief and the larger shared pool also relaxing. Daily breakfast was tasty and worth the extra few dollars. All in all, we’d fully recommend to those non-fussy travelers looking to stay outside of tourist havens like Kuta and the beach hotels. The pace in Bali is (thankfully) slower than usual, and everything doesn’t always work perfectly, but it’s gorgeous Bali so it’s all good. OH, AND ALSO THE BEST PART is the frolicking foster dogs and cats running around the property. It’s impossible to be grumpy about a brief power outage or plumbing glitch with panting pets begging for your affection. Enjoy!

When you open the gates to villa Anjing you feel like you've arrived in paradise!! The small number of bungalows are set around a beautiful Balinese garden and pool with lovely views looking out. The anjings (dogs) are a pleasant addition as they also relax around the property and the overall feel of the place is super relaxed. Breakfast is served on the terrace each morning at a long table where you can chat with fellow travellers (or not) depending on your mood. Everything is artfully designed for comfort as well as the aesthetics and the bungalows have a semi outdoor bathroom which i really loved. The owners Paul and Caroline are ready to assist if you should need anything at all. We loved our stay at villa Anjing, met some lovely couples and will definitely be going back. 😀💕Catherine

nous venons de passer 3 semaines à Nusa Dua la villa identique aux photos, les propriétaires sont sympas et vous donnes des conseils pour passer d'excellentes vacances, vous pouvez louer les yeux fermés vous ne serez pas deçus d'ailleurs je pense y retourné bientot
