About this apartment rental
Nice old apartment in peaceful location w/furniture & extraordinary design. The apartment consists of three bedrooms (each room has a TV), a kitchen and a dining and living room. Kitchen, bathroom & bedroom are fully equipped and invite you to feel at home. The dining room is equipped with TV, radio and WLAN, which is available in all rooms. For excursions or small errands, there are bicycles available that you can use to discover the nice and green region. Whereby the shopping facilities and a bakery, different fast food restaurants and a large, nice bakery (great for breakfast!) can be reached easily on foot.
The private university of Witten/Herdecke can be reached within 5 minutes through a field path.
The apartment was completely newly equipped in 2009, including microwave, coffee machine and everything that you need at your home.

The flat was well equipped and spacious. A large dining table was great for sitting down for meals and playing games but it would be good if there was a couch to sit on to relax.
We are a family of 2 adults and 2 teenage boys and we all had plenty of space for time on our own. The neighbour was friendly and it would have been good if the owner had come to say hello. We were not able to use bikes whilst we were there which was a shame as we did not take our own. We would definitely recommend the flat to other families. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Erst waren wir skeptisch was unsere Reiseidee in das Ruhrgebiet anging, denn man kennt ja die Vorurteile über den "Ruhrpott"...
Aber dann waren wir positiv überrascht, was besonders an dieser tollen Ferienwohnung lag!
Sie ist so liebevoll und jeder Raum individuell eingerichtet und in ruhiger und doch zentraler Lage gelegen. Somit war sie der ideale Ausgangspunkt für unsere Exkursionen. Die vorhandenen Fahrräder konnten wir aufgrund des schlechten Wetters leider nicht nutzen, aber vielleicht klappt das ja beim nächsten Mal, denn wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!
Vom Vermieter wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen und mit Informationen versorgt. Besonders schön fanden wir auch die Prospekte, die in der Wohnung ausliegen und den ein oder anderen Vorschlag für einen Ausflug liefern.
Es war wirklich ein toller Aufenthalt! Vielen Dank dafür!
