Sundancer Residences and Villas Lombok

We both really enjoyed the comfort of the bed. The booked room contained separate large rooms as living area, kitchen, second WC, bedroom and large ensuite and great balcony. The breakfast option were good and delicious. Amazing reception manager Aril, who helped us get the proper ferry tickets as our tour agency 12Go is not providing these. Cocktail bar manager was very through and friendly. Also the pest control staff were very quick to respond and very helpful.

We were very disappointed to see guests were allowed to smoke in the eating areas while people were having breakfast, lunch or dinner. We thought the dinner portions to be small but expensive.

The hotel is beautiful, lovely setting, amazing pool, and the rooms first class. But there is nothing around the hotel to do, so it feels like stuck on an island and the surrounding beaches were absolutely full of rubbish, The surrounding Gilis has some amazing snorkelling, but don't set foot on the islands, again full of rubbish.

Breakfast was OK good mix, but we ate at the hotel restaurant twice and disappointed both times. Seafood Nasi Goreng came with just one overcooked and rubbery king prawn, there may have been some squid in the rice but hard to tell. Tried the western food, and the steak sandwich was stone cold. Also not happy with a booking for a motorbike which did not happen until half the day gone leaving us stuck in the hotel.

Great place, big comfortable rooms (apartment). Great pool, great food, everything was fantastic.

The pool was nice.

The food in the restaurant was not good at all. The staff wasn’t very helpful. The orders took an insane amount of time to prepare and a lot mistakes where made with the bills everytime. The rooms were not clean at all and full of insects. The main AC didn’t work and the bathroom smelled horrible. The gym is smaller than your pocket. And the location is in the middle of nowhere. Nothing nearby to do and to far for to order grabs or taxis. I would not recommend. Find a nice hotel in Kuta or sengiggi instead.
