This property was in a perfect location, in a secure and quiet little courtyard close to everything. Morning cappuccino and pastries are a 5 minute walk from the apartment, and you’ll also find restaurants and grocery stores and bars nearby. It is just around the corner from a bus stop, where you can hop a coach to other lake towns (buy tickets at the newsstand near the town square first!), and the train station is 5 minutes in the other direction. Trains to Rome run every half hour or so, and it’s a 45 min ride that takes you to all the action. The best of both worlds if you prefer a more tranquil stay. Hosts David and Claudia are very accommodating, and the apartment is clean, quiet, well stocked and comfortable! Would definitely stay here again and use as a base for other nearby sights.

Spacious apartment with everything that is needed

David and Claudia are the hosts of this property. They are very hard workers and have a number of apartments/flats. My wife and I stayed in the largest one with two of our adult children. We wanted to experience the country setting away from Rome before we left for home. This location is picturesque and lovely. Funny challenge came to us as my wife contracted COVID along the way during our cruise vacation out of Civitavecchia. We counseled with our children and sent them home. I stayed with my wife for 10 more days. David and Claudia went overboard to help us. They arranged for us to stay in another small apartment that would meet our quarantine demands. They checked in on us as we worked to recover (I ended up getting it from my wife.). They were so kind and helpful to us. We can’t say enough about our hosts’ attentive character and loving ways. We felt like family. Thank you David and Claudia for loving us through this difficult time. We eventually made it home and are still recovering. Mostly from the time change. We will never forget these good people. If you book with David and Claudia, you will be treated like family. Enjoy your stay and don’t hesitate to stay with them, if you are looking for a country setting that is quiet and comfortable to rest and regenerate.
