    The room is very small but clean. It comes with a well stocked but expensive mini fridge. The location is perfect but being in the middle of the city makes it noisy even if you are on the upper floors. It is surrounded by restaurants so we didn’t eat at the hotel. Staff was exceptionally friendly. The WiFi was a bear to connect to but tech support was quick to respond.

    We had to book accommodations at the last minute and Arlo was within budget. The location is just adjacent to millennium park, and is 5 mins away from the nearest CTA. Giordano’s and other restos are just across the street. The staff were so kind and helpful — shoutout to Allie who addressed all our questions and made us feel right at home :) i would definitely recommend this to solo travelers, groups of 2, and couples visiting Chicago!

    We needed a one night stay in downtown Chicago and the Arlo did not disappoint. Clean, quiet, great location… the best deal on the Avenue!

    Overall, my stay at Arlo Chicago was disappointing, even though there were some positive aspects. At check-in, it appeared that I was charged the $160 security deposit three separate times. After I pointed this out, the front desk apologized and offered my wife and me complimentary breakfast vouchers as compensation. I appreciated the gesture and thought the matter had been resolved. When I got to my room, I discovered that it had virtually no view at all. The window faced a wall just a few feet away, making the room feel dark and unpleasant. On the positive side, the room itself and the bathroom were clean and well maintained. The following morning, we used the breakfast vouchers. The breakfast was actually very good, and we assumed it was complimentary as promised. However, at check-out, I was surprised to find that I was charged for the breakfast anyway. In addition, I had to pay another $60 (besides the deposit), although I was not given a clear explanation for that charge. In summary, I experienced several unnecessary issues during my stay: * The security deposit appeared to be charged three times. * I was given a room with virtually no view. * The complimentary breakfast that was offered as compensation ended up being charged to my bill. These repeated mistakes left me with a very disappointing impression of the hotel. I hope you will review what happened and improve the experience for future guests.
