About this house rental
This charming and quintessential 'Tassie Shack' has loads of character and is immaculate inside and out. It boasts a gorgeous, new king sized sofa, desk nook and large smart TV in living area, plus another tv/dvd player in single bed bedroom. There is unlimited quality wifi throughout and a generously equipped kitchen that has everything you could need to cook up a storm.
The house has 5 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and sleeps 10 people. The 5 Bedrooms consist of: Queen, Double, Double, Double, 2 Singles.
Outside is a huge deck and space for many cars or even a game of cricket!
Lagoon Beach is about 20m from the front gate and is perfect for young children; or if you prefer a surf beach and long beach walks, East Beach is a 5 minute walk from the back gate. The position is brilliant.
The fascinating Pilot Station, cafe, museum, Low Head Lighthouse, Pilot's Beach and fairy penguin reserve are just a few minutes walk up the road. George Town, including multiple supermarkets, bakeries, cafes, pubs, chemists, restaurants & a fantastic butcher, is a 5 minute drive away.
The house has a coffee machine, a huge games cupboard, dress ups, books & DVDs for all ages, two TVs, dvd player, all linen provided, laundry facilities and great heating.
Very well behaved pets will be considered on request.

Thank you for sharing your lovely heritage listed home at Low Head. It is so very peaceful & we loved the history, beaches, walks & small community. The house is cosy, clean & well equipped. It is convenient to George Town for groceries & we enjoyed spending our days exploring all that the Tamar region has to offer. Close by, the Pilot Station, lighthouse & penguin tours were particularly awesome.
Georgia is a very thoughtful host providing everything we could need as well as information about the house & area. It is just a beautiful part of the world. Thanks for having us!

We stayed 8 nights at Low Head with our 5 kids. It was just what we needed. Enough room for everyone to spread out. Everything was well appointed and it felt like home away from home. The lounge was comfy and the kitchen felt communal. The area was relaxing and full of character. We did lots of different walks around the area. Georgetown is just a short drive away and we enjoyed a meal at the pilot house with a quick trip through the museum. Overall, we'd go back again in a heartbeat!

Loved the location, started each day with a walk along the beach watching the sunrise and the bird waking.
