About this house rental

Long term or short-term rental. Make yourself at home in this well-appointed charming 2-bedroom 1920's bungalow, "La Casita Inn". This (pet/child free) home in Downtown Vancouver is located right off Main St. You will have the home all to yourself. Large Kitchen and full appliances. Primary bedroom has a Queen bed. The second bedroom can be used as a office (single sleeper sofa) and living room has a double sleeper sofa. Sleeps two comfortable and a third person on sofa beds Three guest total. Washer/dryer. Parking front and back. For your safety, we have security cameras in the front outside and back outside of the house. Bike path to the waterfront right outside the front door and into Portlandia. (Bike rentals available downtown) Enjoy a cup of coffee or pastries at Simply Sweets. Yum! Walking distance to shops and restaurants. New Seasons and Safeway close by. Fort Vancouver 5 min. Bus line located on corner. Vancouver Lake a quick 10 min. Ilani Casino 15 min. 5 fwy nearby. PDX airport and downtown Portland 15 min. Have stayed at Lupe/Mike house several times while we were moving up to Vancouver. The property is very well kept and has a real home feel to it, which is why we always stayed here. The location can’t be beat as it is fully walkable to all of downtown Vancouver and the waterfront. In the market of rentals this one is a real find and would recommend this to anyone coming to the Vancouver area.

Lupe’s cottage was as charming as pictured, and immaculate!This was probably the most well stocked vacation rental in which we’ve ever stayed.The welcome basket filled with goodies, and the chilled waters were much appreciated after spending a long day on the road.I highly recommend staying here!!!

I personally chose this property because I wanted to stay in this neighborhood as we are currently thinking about moving to Vancouver. I will say that I have never felt more at home than in this property and this neighborhood. When I was on the front porch there were countless people who said hello and asked how my stay was in Vancouver. Where I"m from the only sight you see of your neighbor is their tail lights in the garage as the door closes.I want to first say that this property far exceeded my expectations. Lupe/Mike have taken the time and thought to make sure you have everything you need and more. They take the time to care for this property and it shows, that is why their policies are in place. I really cant say there was anything they missed, even had extra blankets/sheets/towels, etc., all marked with yellow post it notes (You will know what I'm saying.....). This place was also SO CLEAN, which in the industry is hard to find. I just cant say enough good things about this property, oh yeah I'm bring my spouse back are in 2 weeks to stay again.Thank you so much for making my stay a memorable one.

First impressions: lovely front yard , nice landscaping, well cared for. Porch: comfy seats, inviting a rest. House. Very clean, smells fresh . Big kitchen, appointed with everything one could wish for to prepare a dinner. Large bedroom, lots of storage, comfortable bed. Small bedroom with pullout bed, was comfortable for one of the guests who is light. Bathroom between the two bedrooms was fine . Living room with plenty of comfortable seats. Laundry room is large and washer and dryer worked well . Lots of welcome goodies in kitchen. Quiet neighborhood!

Charming bungalow in a quiet neighborhood. Easy parking access via alley. I could see myself making a home in the lovely spot. Plenty of restaurants with easy parking. The Green Chile burger and fried brussel sprouts at Pacific House were fabulous. Carol's Corver Cafe served up delicious breakfast in massive proportions.

We have enjoyed staying in the Casita every year! We enjoy the neighborhood walks, the Simply Sweet bakery across the streat, and the comfort of the cottage. It is exceptionally well supplied for in home cooking and dining which works for us when we invite our son, daugther and granddaughter over for a family dinner during our yearly visits. Out thanks to Lupe and Mike for providing this lovely home and for their outstanding support of their visitors.

I found this space last minute when a scheduled trustedhousesitters sit was canceled last minute due to homeowner illness. This space was everything I didn't know I needed, absolute perfection. Property was charming and well maintained, the check in process seamless. The location was amazing and so close to the waterfront and downtown area. It was raining most of my time in Vancouver but the cottage was so relaxing and the surroundings beautiful, I highly recommend this cottage whether you are there for a brief stay or something a bit more lengthy.

This is a great little place for two people, or maybe two people with a young child or maybe two. Very clean, very quiet. Parking is plentiful behind the house. I would not recommend for two couples-- The second bedroom is very tiny. Otherwise, the house is very well setup to cook and to stay for a while. A bus line is close by, a bakery is just across the street, and the new New Seasons grocery store less than a mile away is huge plus if you want great groceries and prepared food items.

This older house has been carefully remodeled into a small and comfortable little gem, located in a very quiet well-kept neighborhood. The owners have provided most everything expected for a comfortable visit for two adults and maybe one small child. It's not the Ritz but met our needs very well.

I had a wonderful time there and it was a great location. I had to go up a day early due to freeze warnings and Lupe had availability and let me check in spur the moment which was wonderful. My husband and I loved this beautiful cottage. The hosts thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. The home was well kept, clean and charming. It’s clear they have put a lot of thought and heart into their casita. This home is in a great location. It’s close to downtown Vancouver and Portland. We LOVED staying at La Casita Inn in Downtown Vancouver. This was our first time to the area and we are so happy we decided to stay in Vancouver instead of Portland. The area is so nice and safe. You always see people walking down the street and it's close to the waterfront and shops/restaurants. It was very nice coming back to a quiet house after being in the very busy Portland area. The location is also close to the highway to get to Mt Rainier, Mt. Hood, and Multonmah Falls. The house itself is perfect for a couple. Lupe and Mike went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great. The extra little amenities (snacks and COFFEE) really did make us feel a little more welcome. Lupe was very easy to work with when we were there. She even provided restaurant suggestions when we asked. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area.

Vancouver is just the right distance from the business of downtown Portland with easy access to all of the sites and features of the city. The property is very clean and comfortable. This little house is in an ideal location near downtown Vancouver and I-5, with easy access to Portland as well as Astoria and the Longview WA area. The house was super-clean, neat, and well decorated, great Wi-Fi, and I felt at home right away. It's in a lovely neighborhood, safe, convenient to everything, and great for walking. It's an ideal Portland getaway for a couple. I highly recommend and the hosts were very responsive to our needs and welcoming. I felt like I was staying at a friend's vacation home for a few days.
