Villa Porsenna

Exceptional and unexpectedly big property, exactly how you would imagine Tuscan countryside and more, as it includes very well equipped (2 bathrooms, air conditioning, big kitchen etc.) and nicely designed clean interiors. Peaceful and quiet, great weather mid-August. You can have your buffet breakfast and coffee outside everyday with the sun shining around a green garden with a lot of flowers, herbs, fruits and olive trees. The owners were very kind to share with us their freshly picked tomatoes straight from the bush growing by the house (and those were delicious!). Perfect place for people looking for a quiet place surrounded by nature, full privacy guaranteed. Good starting point to visit nearby cities and lakes in Tuscany and Umbria for some sightseeing. Pro-tip: if you are a 5* hotel lover and afraid of fauna usual for countryside (small spiders, lizards, mosquitoes) - it’s better for you to book a hotel instead. This property does not deserve negative opinions because you found a spider or were bitten by a mosquito. Your lack of research is not their fault. Pro-tip 2: if your driving skills are poor and you are renting a car in Italy - make sure you are okay with steep driveways. This property includes one and Chiusi city is also full of narrow steep streets. For self-aware travelers this is will be a very rewarding experience. Highly recommended!

we loved the villa as it was veeeeery home-y and relaxing😌 everything that we needed was provided thoughtfully.. Nicola was also very accommodating and warm.. definitely recommending this place 👍🏻👏🏻

The steep drive!

Die Lage des Hauses ist toll. 5 Gehminuten in die Altstadt von Chiusi, aber völlig im Grünen und sehr ruhig. Schöner Garten, tolle Terrasse. Die Wohnung ist gross, modern und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert gut. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Die Zufahrt kann für sehr große Autos eventuell etwas eng werden. Wir hatten Probleme, die mit den Straßen -Arbeitern zusammenhingen, aber Nicola und Nives, die uns betreut haben, waren super hilfreich und sehr sehr nett und immer erreichbar! Danke nochmals ! In Chiusi gibt es einige tolle Restaurants und auch im nahen Umfeld ( ca 10 Minuten mit dem Auto) haben wir toll gegessen! Italienisches Frühstück haben wir uns fast täglich in der Bar Centrale in Chiusi gegönnt - lecker und herrlich untouristisch! Wir hoffen, wieder zu kommen!

Prachtige locatie, erg vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw, goed gevulde koelkast bij aankomst. We komen graag nog eens terug.

Kan niets bedenken. Misschien de steile weg als je te voet naar het dorp gaat? 😉

Wir hatten leider Pech und ein Tag wurde durch Lärm einer nahen Baustelle verdorben - da sind wir dann weggefahren und haben was unternommen.

Velmi krasne misto, čistota, milý a ochotny majitel. Vybaveni domu naprosto dostacujici, velmi pohodlne.

Je zde celkem slozity, uzky prijezd, meli jsme velke auto s privesem a nebylo to jednoduche. S pomoci majitelu jsme to ale zvladli. Je dobre to konzultovat predem.
