A stay at Lodge Between the Lakes is about comfort, space, and the kind of relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in right away. Located just 5 miles west of Mountain Home, Arkansas, the lodge sits in a quiet rural setting centrally located to Bull Shoals Lake, Norfork Lake and the White River, offering both convenience and privacy. It feels removed from traffic and crowds, yet close to everything that brings people to the Twin Lakes area.
From the moment you arrive, the size of the lodge stands out. This is a place built for groups—families, friends, reunions, or multi-generation trips—where everyone can be together without feeling on top of one another. Inside, the layout is open and functional, with multiple gathering spaces that naturally accommodate shared meals, conversation, and downtime.
The main living areas are designed for unwinding after a full day outdoors. Comfortable seating, a fireplace, and plenty of room to stretch out make it easy to relax, whether that means watching a movie, catching up with family, or simply enjoying a quiet evening inside by the fire. The kitchen is fully equipped and well suited for group cooking, making shared meals a central part of the stay rather than an afterthought. Long dinners, casual breakfasts, and late-night snacks all happen easily here. If you have a grill-boss in your family, we've got you covered! We have a commercial griddle and BBQ grill on the patio, ready for your use!
One of the most unique features of the property is Grandpas' Barn, which offers heated and cooled PICKLEBALL courts! Whether you're an experienced player or trying the game for the first time, the courts make it easy to play year-round, regardless of weather. It's a favorite gathering spot for friendly competition during the day and casual games in the evening, adding an unexpected and memorable experience to the stay!
Evenings tend to spread out across the property. Some guests gravitate toward the downstairs entertainment room for a game of pool or the upstairs rec room for ping pong, foosball or board games- while others step outside to enjoy the hot tub or sit on the porch swing on the screened in porch and listen to the sounds of nature in the evening. The setting is calm and quiet, especially at night, and you will find it easy to disconnect and enjoy being off the clock for a while.
When it’s time to turn in, the bedrooms offer a comfortable place to recharge. With multiple sleeping areas and bathrooms, the lodge works well for larger groups and mixed ages. Guests often comment on how well they sleep here—helped by the quiet surroundings and the feeling of being away from everyday routines.
Mornings at the lodge are unhurried. Coffee in hand from the Keurig coffee station, guests gather in the kitchen or step outside to enjoy the fresh air before heading out for the day. With the lakes and rivers nearby, many days are spent boating, fishing, swimming, or exploring the Ozarks. Others choose to stay close, using the lodge as a home base for rest, games, and time together. With more than 5 acres surrounding the property, you can enjoy the hiking trail, disc golf, volleyball, soccer, badminton, or just relaxing on the deck overlooking the pond.

Check-in is usually after 3 PM, and check-out by 11 AM, so evenings and mornings are relaxed without a rush. There’s a minimum stay (often at least 3 nights) depending on booking dates, which helps ensure you get a full, leisurely stay rather than just one night. We block Tuesday night through Wednesday morning for cleaning… So no problem if you want to stay more than a week… We will gladly remove the block for you! :-)

The home and lodge were exactly as described in the description. We were a group of 17 and there was more than enough room for all of us. The pickleball court, hot tub, ping pong table, the walking trails on the property were excellent amenities to have. We rented the lodge for the solar eclipse and had an amazing view all to ourselves and away from the hustle and bustle. The kitchen was well stocked, the Blackstone made meals a breeze.Steve and Betsy made us all feel very welcome with homemade bread, a gift basket and welcome note. There were available for the last minute and forgotten items. If ever back in Arkansas, we would stay here again. You won't regret booking this property!

We had three families that met here simply because it was a good location and we had heard good things from friends that used it. In short, we really enjoyed the stay and found it to be very relaxing and fun!
Main pros:
Comfortable, well-kept, lots of space to spread out, Blackstone grill was perfect for burgers/eggs/French toast/sausage/bacon, small above-ground pool got used a lot, pickleball, volleyball, feeding the ducks and fish, fishing, etc.
Steve was great to work with and was a gracious host. He gave us plenty of space while responding quickly when we needed him.
We had a very enjoyable stay!

Wow! What a wonderful place to take our children and grandchildren! There were 15 of us, ranging from 18 months to age 58, and the house was accommodating for everyone. Plenty of space, activities inside and outside, and numerous places to kick back and relax. Weve rented many homes for our vacations, and this was by far the best! All the little extras were great, so thoughtful! We have already recommended this home to several of our friends.Steve and Betsy were awesome, going above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable and relaxing time. We appreciate all the work and love they have put into The Lodge Between The Lakes! Whether you like to play games, sit around a fire, relax in the hot tub, or sip a cup of coffee on the porch, this is definitely the place for you!Thank you, Steve and Betsy, for providing a lovely place for our family to make lasting memories!!
