Good location close 2 all facilities

This was my 2nd stay here. It's a great place, with lovely friendly owners. Great menu in the attached restaurant. Spacious double room with a comfortable bed and pillows. Slept really well, which I don't very often. It's quiet but close to the night market. So, great location. Good garden area to relax in. Also very close to a beautiful Riverside walkway. I know there are problems at the boarder with Cambodia but it had absolutely no impact at all on my lovely peaceful stay here. If I'm in the area again I will definitely be staying at Orchid guesthouse once again.

Good food, nice location, quiet private garden.

Of the twelve different accommodations we have used in Thailand we liked this one the least. Based on the reviews we expected more. Guesthouse was in a good location near the markets. It had a lovely private garden with seating where we had dinner and a few Changs. The room was just about big enough for four people with basic amenities. The water pressure in the bathroom was low. There was no curtain around the shower and the bathroom was rather small so the whole room got wet (including the toilet bowl) when someone took a shower. The biggest problem for us was the beds which were very uncomfortable. There were no comforters on the beds and the blankets we found in the closet were only for three people. In addition, they were not linen on the blankets, so it looked like anyone was using them as needed. My wife slept all night uncovered as she did not have a blanket. There is also a large amount of mosquitoes everywhere. We didn't get much sleep and overall we were not very happy with our stay. However, the food and drink there was good, we also liked the private garden and the price was not high. We would pay extra for better quality accommodation in Trat next time though.
