Comfortable, charming, clean, with nice hosts and a great price.
My (Italian) husband stayed here during the first week of July and liked it so much he wants to return next year! He went to paint the lavender and was pleased to discover the property is actually located on the edge of the family lavender farm, with lovely views in all directions. He rented the "One BR House" which is newly renovated and very charming (my husband was even inspired to paint it!), clean and comfortable with lots of extra's (including a dishwasher!). It is connected to the "The Holiday Home" but they have completely separate entrances. It is also near the family home and is separated by a couple of parking spaces. There was plenty of privacy, but knowing the family was nearby, you didn't feel isolated in the countryside. The kitchen and bathroom are downstairs and the ample-sized bedroom and living room are upstairs. Even though it was quite sunny and hot during the day, the nights cooled off and my husband always slept comfortably (without a fan or A/C). The Wifi worked great and Kevin communicated well and was available and friendly (and guests could even arrange to have meals cooked by the family...very nice!). Check-in is at their swankier sister place, Domain La Bastide des Bourguets (with the pool) nearby. And the nearby village of Sault is small and charming with several bars/restaurants and a little supermarket and was always pleasant and tranquil in the evenings. Oh, and the price for one-week's stay was very reasonable.
The bathroom could benefit from having a "shower caddy" in the shower (for your soap and shampoo) and maybe a shelf above the sink for your toothbrush and other toiletries.

Rust, mooie omgeving. Accommodatie met pool en jacuzzi en afsluitbare fietsenstalling. Gewwon top!

Genoten van het verblijf in het mooie Sault.
De locatie was dichtbij de stad Sault. Dat vonden we zeker een voordeel. De accomodatie was netjes, zeer geschikt voor 2 personen. Alles wat we nodig hadden konden we vinden in de locatie. Op het terrasje konden we ontbijten, lunchen, dineren. Er zijn mooie wandelingen in de buurt, Monieux is op wandelafstand. We hebben vooral in de buurt gefietst, met als troef de mont Ventoux. De gastheer was steeds bereikbaar en bood een heel goede service.

Eigentlich alles, v.a. die Unabhängigkeit und die netten 3 anständigen Haustiere der Nachbarn.
Man muss wissen dass man bei dr Ankunft zuerst in die Hauptunterkunft muss und nicht direkt in die Bastide de la Loge..... und die Zufahrtsstrasse könnte besser sein, v.a. für Fahrräder....

Von Sault aus die Vaucluse erkunden
Das Appartment ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für die Region. Sault ist ein sehr schöner und interessanter Ort nahe dem Mont Ventoux zwischen Lavendelfeldern. Der Vermieter Kevin hat uns zum Appartment begleitet, das etwas abseits der Appartmentanlage gelegen ist, zu der es gehört.
Etwas problematisch ist der steile Treppenaufgang zum Wohn- und Schlafzimmer, hier fehlt ein Handlauf zur sicheren Benutzung.
