The cottage was perfect - clean, well stocked with items needed, quiet and accessible to shopping. We relaxed watching the birds on the lake, did a little fishing, went antiquing and visited local towns. A well rounded relaxing trip. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was absolutely beautiful and was a good central point for us to be able to go out and travel to other areas. Fran was very kind and explained everything to us and showed us around the property

Wonderful lakeside location and a very cute cabin. Very nice host. We knew ahead of time that the well water was not potable, what we didn’t know was that it had a silver smell and was brown. Unfortunately the bed is very old and creaky and not suitable for two people so we used the pullout sofa bed as backup. It was also very uncomfortable and dirty and had no mattress pad. Sheets and blankets were available. Both items need replacing. The cabin also has a terrible moldy smell. We left early because of this.
