It is a sprawling property that is maintained very well. Everything from the landscape to the rooms, and the customer service to the food, was absolutely amazing! It is a great place to stay with family, and such a wonderful way to refresh and rejuvenate.

WOODVISTA COTTAGES @CHEOG's location is to die for. It's a paradise in the middle of a jungle. Fantastic view of the mountains. No noise, you can only hear the sound of birds and the winds rustling through trees and leaves. Lots of trekking trails around the place. The cottages themselves are very beautiful, very tastefully done up. Every cottage has a great view. Food is amazing, and the staff took care of all our special requests. Special mention to Eisha & Vivek, they were very helpful and prompt with everything we needed. Vivek also organised a visit to their apple orchards (a must-visit, half-hour drive). A bonus being a dog lover, the property has 3 super friendly dogs- Romy, Max and Action. They will escort you on your treks/ walks and give you company anywhere you go. Yes, the property is pet-friendly. We spent 4 nights here... would have loved to spend more time... we'll be back in the winters to see the place in snow.

Overall. It was an excellent experience. Staff was extremely helpful and polite.

The location somewhere lost is great. The cottages are lovely...the amenities are modern and something I least expected in a literal jungle location.

The approach road is risky during bad weathers. You need a 4x4 or a professional driver. It is 5kms off the main roads...more than 2kms off road...very few boards indicating that you are on the right track to the property. It rained during our stay...loved it...but were really nervous on our way back home. Since it is a property for people who want to cut off from the world...it deserves to have a gym and entertainment zone to cater to the entire family.
