About this house rental
The cozy little holiday house "Casott" (down there) is a loft-like room (plus the associated bathroom). It is a little further down in the property in the middle of the olive trees with a beautiful view of the sea. With its own parking space and access, it is completely independent of the other two units.
Ideal 'nest' for two people with a spacious balcony and small terrace.
On our beautiful property you have the opportunity to rent one of our 3 apartments. The apartments are different and each have their own character:
- "Casa Melagrana" = the spacious and comfortable apartment with 120sqm.
- "Nascondiglo" = the small and cozy apartment with approx .: 43sqm
- "Casott" = the new and dreamy house with approx .: 35sqm
The 3 apartments have separate entrances, cozy living-dining areas and private terraces with sea views. The apartments each have one bedroom; Depending on the apartment, 2 to 4 people can stay overnight.
"Nascondiglo" and "Casott" are equipped with minimalist kitchens and shower rooms.
"Melagrana" has a complete kitchen equipment with
and washing machine, a bath and a covered terrace with sleeping facilities.
Internet connections are available in all 3 apartments.
The apartments can be rented separately or together.

The highlights of our property are:
-beautiful garden, from April a sea of flowers, a real paradise

-gorgeous location on a hill above the sea on the Gulf of Salerno

The small medieval town of Castellabate lies on a 278 m high mountain peak above the sea with a lot of 'Belvedere'. The place developed around the castle built in 1123, which served the population as protection against Saracen raids. Winding alleys, archways, labyrinthine stairways lead through the intact historical center. It is not for nothing that Castellabate was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The coastal towns of San Marco, Santa Maria di Castellabate and Ogliastro Marina also have more than wide sandy beaches to offer. In the heart of the Centro Storico: the Aragonese coast watchtower at the port of Santa Maria di Castellabate.
Santa Maria: The heart of the Centro Storico of Santa Maria beats on a sandy bay surrounded by fishermen's houses, venerable palazzi and an Aragonese coast watchtower. Here and in the adjacent pedestrian zone, it is wonderful to stroll. San Marco can look back on a long seafaring tradition. So there is still an active fishing fleet and traditional wooden ships are built. South of San Marco, there are delightful hikes on the Monte Licosa peninsula. In front of Cape Licosa is one of the two marine natural parks of the Cilento.

Die individuell eingerichtete Einzimmerwohnung mit fantastischem Ausblick liegt so, dass man sich sehr gut erholen kann: ein fabelhafter Ausblick, Einzellage und wenn doch etwas fehlt, kann man, wenn Gabi da ist, zu ihr hochsteigen und wird nett empfangen. Das schmucke Castellabate erreicht man in ca. 15 Minuten steilem Aufstieg. Dort kann man sehr gut essen und flanieren.

Wir haben zwei Wochen im Casott verbracht und jeden Tag in dieser gemütlichen und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung genossen. Der Blick von Wohnung und Terrasse auf das Meer ist ein Traum! Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die sympathische Gastgeberin hat sich von Anfang an um unser Wohl gekümmert und uns gute Tipps zum Erkunden der Gegend gegeben. Klare Empfehlung!

Wohnten 5 Nächte im Casott. Super-Lage, ruhig (auf den am Pfingstsonntag ab 6:00 Uhr morgens (!) rasenmähenden Nachbarn hätten wir verzichten können, war aber hoffentlich die ganz große Ausnahme) mit traumhafter Sicht (ganz verglaste Nordseite) bis nach Salerno und die Amalfi-Küste. Ein-Raum-FeWo mit Holzterrasse, gemütlich eingerichtet, aber ohne Schrank (alte Leiter als Garderobe, siehe Fotos) Weiße Vorhänge suboptimal, da ab Sonnenaufgang hell (Augenklappe mitbringen!)
