Soak up central lake splendour from Argegno - with this 2 bedroom retreat!
Offering an exclusive holiday haven on the central lake, this contemporary apartment provides an effortless combination of chic style and timeless home comfort.
Guests will easily be able to entertain and relax in style, within the fully-furnished interior of the lateral level apartment.
The lake view living room is tastefully furnished with a comfortable modern sofa, flat screen SAT TV and music stereo. WIFI access also conveniently features and the breathtaking lake view backdrop from the glass sliding doors provides a first class view in all seasons.
The covered private terrace out here easily allows guests to soak up a spot of holiday serenity; with sun beds featuring alongside a shared swimming pool and chic lake view dining area ideal for savouring summertime feasts and romantic evening drinks.
A fully-equipped kitchen diner further complements the chic escapism of the open plan living area.
A lake view double bedroom with balcony access is further complemented by a second lake view twin bedroom which is equally stylish and also benefits from balcony access.

From the elevated lake view position of the exclusive residence, guests are within a 10 minute walk away from town and a 1 minute drive away from all the local amenities provided within the ancient allure of Argegno. The lakeside town offers a lovely selection of cafes, wine bars and authentic restaurants to savour (La Piazzetta in particular is well worth booking a table for!) alongside a useful passenger ferry service, a main lake road that stretches the full length of the western shore and a bus service with links to Menaggio (20 minutes) and to the lake capital of Como (30 minutes).
For more fine dining opportunities, the lakeside town is within enviable reach of the ‘Locanda di Trilindana’ restaurant in Sala Comacina and ‘Il Crotto dei Platani’ in Brienno. The nearby Tremezzina shore is also lined with a plethora of cafes, Italian restaurants and unique wine bars. ‘La Aqua Cheta’ is situated in a converted boat house in the lakeside park there and boasts the perfect sunset lake spot for evening aperitivos, whilst the tucked away ‘La Cantina’ in the quiet backstreets offers an ambient evening of wine tasting and delectable regional produce under a vine covered terrace.

The good things: apartment is large and comfortable. Lots of storage. Good water pressure and shower is good. There were two tablets each for the washing machine and dishwasher. Lots of complimentary shower gel packs. There is a designated garage in the parking garage.There a TV, DVD player and CD player. You need to take your own, though - there isn't a DVD library in the apartment.There was a lovely 'welcome pack' box, which was a nice surprise.The view over the lake and moutains is lovely.Things that could be improved: There are several key safes at the bottom of the driveway to the garage. There was nothing denoting our flat number (6a), and I had to guess which one it was. New, waterproof, labels would help.The four keys are not marked to denote what they are for.There were no instructions for entering the parking garage.After 5 minutes sitting in the apartment, I started reacting to dust. Although the apartment is clean, it needs a good anti-dust clean. It gets cold at night, and there are blankets in the cupboards, but a duvet would have been good. The internet connection is hit-and-miss. Several times, we lost connection. General advice if you're thinking of booking: we were in 6a, which is up two flights of stairs. The apartment complex is high up, so it gets quite windy up there. Parking in the Lake Como area is a pain, and Argegne is no different. We walked down to the village and back up again, twice - it is not easy!

Loved the view! Walk up to the apartment was invigorating but could be quite tough if you don’t have a car (we arrived by ferry). Very clean. Communication was very responsive and he.

The views of this home took our breath away. It had everything we needed. It was clean, loved the care package.
