We loved staying at the Koana Breeze! So grateful for such a lovely home away from home to stay at while vacationing in
We loved this property overall. A fabulous location, beautiful view, fully stocked kitchen with all that you’d need as far as plates, glasses, cookware, pots, pans Etc. We loved the hot tub and being able to spend time on the patio to take in the gorgeous scenery, at night the stars and planets were so visible as long as it wasn’t cloudy. We also loved that there were boogie boards and some snorkeling gear to use which was convenient. The house had a lot of fans to cool down the common areas and the bedrooms were air conditioned which was nice when it got really hot. There’s laundry on site which was critical and plenty of space for the 8 of us to spread out when we needed a break from each other (lol). Overall, a lovely house to stay in and really nice home away from home. If we come back to the Kona side of the big island (which we hope to one day) we would definitely see if the Koana Breeze is available to stay again. THANK YOU!
There were only two things we didn’t love that can definitely be fixed. The washer and dryer were a bit loud as they’re older models so that was a bit inconvenient. they took a while to complete their cycle which meant doing laundry was a long process but again, we were really grateful to have laundry on site! The only other thing was there was an odor in the cottage that was attached to the main house. I was surprised by that since the main house smelled great! The odor was something can be addressed and fixed I’m sure. Despite these two we still give the place 5 stars and would return. just sharing as there’s always room for improvement!
