Good pleasant stay

Plenty of space inside and outside. Nice to be with the kids. Very comfortable living room and well equipped kitchen.

A number of things are getting used and in need of some small renovations. Including outside garden area and play area. It should be clearer in the descriptions that the outside garden area is shared with other hosts and that there are extra cleaning costs charged at the end.

Normal rainfall is not a hurricane

Location is quiet and offers enough for a short stay. Perfect if you wish to explore the surrounding trails and only wish for a quiet place to sleep.

The host seemed friendly at first but he spent way too much time giving an unnecessary tour of quite the simple lodging as well as explaining the "house rules" which are included in a folder which is extremely unnecessary and pedantic for a simple stay. In addition to that, the WiFi in the lodging is actually a wifi extender going from the actual router inside his house nextdoor. For the entire duration of our stay he didn't allow us to have a wifi connection although it is included in the regular price as he claimed there would be huge storms in the area. As it turned out and as we repeatedly tried to explain, during our stay there wasn't more than a 30 min regular rainfall which could clearly be told by simply looking outside the window. He also kept sending me unnecessary weather reports a few times per day, I think around 6 over the 2 nights we spend there claiming there would be severe storms and hail as big as tennis balls which of course wasn't true. He also kept apologizing repeatedly for the bad weather as he thought we couldn't manage to do any of our planned activities but we explained a number of times that we managed to do ALL planned trails and activities as the ground was mostly dry and the weather nice and hot. Upon our arrival we also paid for towels and such and even after several reminders he only managed to give out our change shortly before our departure. All in all the house itself is exactly what you pay for but the host is not worth the trouble as he makes the stay way too stressful and complicated with his paranoid obsession with what he considers "bad weather"

Le propriétaire es venu déposer une couettes dans le chalet a ouvert avec ses clefs nous étions pas et j avais pris mon bébé chat il aurait pu le faire sauver du coup on ces pas senti en sécurité

Chalet très agréable

Un séjour estival en famille très agréable ! Nous étions 5 et tout est très confortable et propre. La cuisine est bien équipée et la salle de bain est neuve. Il est facile de se garer devant et de ranger des vélos à l’abri dans un garage. Philippe le propriétaire est charmant et donne de bon conseils. Le jardin (partagé avec l’autre gîte) est très agréable et sans aucun vis à vis. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir

Chalet bien situé au centre du village près des commerces et à proximité du lac. Propriétaire (Philippe) sympathique.

Dommage que le chalet manque d'entretien : Douche et WC rafistolés. Robinet SB à changer. Wifi intermittent. TV TNT capricieuse...

Agréable séjour lors des vacances de la Toussaint pour notre famille de 7 personnes

Bon accueil de Philippe qui nous a montré toutes les commodités de l'hébergement. Il avait même prévu quelques boissons pour notre arrivée. La maison est propre et confortable. Elle est très bien située entre le lac de Gérardmer et le lac de Longemer. Nous avons fait de belles randonnées et de la luge d'été au Hohneck. Merci Philippe, nous avons passé un agréable week-end lors des vacances de la Toussaint. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir pour le ski tout bientôt ...
