"Bearadise Ridge." A rustic cabin in the heart of Wears Valley just 4 miles from the GSMNP entrance!

Nice property and close enough to everything but with privacy

Celebrating a 50th birthday with friend's! Loved everything about this cabin, it was secluded, quiet and clean. We would stay there again.

Driveway was used for both firepit and grilling which limited the parking space when it was already at a real high level... house was great otherwise

Very comfortable and clean cabin with everything we needed to have a great little getaway. Beautiful property in a gorgeous neighborhood. PS … we kept a watchful eye but didn’t get to see any bears

Had a lot of fun hanging out with friends cooking and playing board games. The kitchen is stocked at an "OK" level - luckily for the few things we didn't think to bring that weren't present, Instacart was able to get delivered. Hottub worked great, though it is clearly sitting at an angle on the deck - water level on one side was at least an inch higher than the opposite. Everything was nice and clean.

I LOVED THE AREA, NICE AND QUIET. THE PARKING WAS A LITTLE TIGHT.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The cabin was beautiful and clean. We had no problems during our stay. The management team was responsive and helpful. Looking forward to staying here again.

Had a wonderful time staying in the cabin….plenty of room for the whole family….it snowed while we were there so we got to play in it …fun! It was quiet and very peaceful…..the HOA was in charge of scraping the road which didn’t happen….made the beginning of the road very treacherous getting to the property….it didn’t take away from the beauty of the cabin however ….great memories ❤️

There was plenty of space for everyone. There isnt very many views just trees in front of the house but the cabin is beautiful. We saw 3 bears just around our cabin. There isnt much room for parking in the driveway. The buttons on the hot tub didn't work to turn on the jets. I would definitely stay here again.

This cabin is centrally located to get to all attractions in a timely fashion!! We had three couples staying for the Annual Jeep Invasion and this place was perfect!! There was a king bed and full bathroom on each level which was exactly what we needed ~ plus an extra king bed!! The beds were soooo comfortable and slept perfect!! We really weren’t at the cabin a lot except in the evenings to sleep so we didn’t use any of the amenities much but will definitely come again!! The agent we were dealing with was very quick to respond to any and all questions! So A+ all the way around!! We even had a bear 🐻 visit us one morning!!

Spacious and roomy cabin for the 8 of us (5 adults and 3 kids 9 and up). Lots to do and keep busy at the cabin or in town. Everything was clean and the beds were comfy. Could have used an early arrival but it wasn’t granted, even though no one was there even 30 min before 4. Everyone agreed that we would stay here again.

This cabin exceeded our expectations! The accommodations were perfect for our family. Each of our family units had its own floor with a bedroom and bathroom. The game room was enjoyed by all. The decks were great. We saw four bears (different sightings) amble across the rolling yard. We love how close we were to Townsend since we prefer the peaceful side of the Smokies. We look forward to returning to this pristine cabin. The jetted tub was a bonus!

It was super clean and convenient to Townsend where we were at for an event. Would recommend this house in a heartbeat!

The cabin’s main level is open and spacious. The deck rockers are comfy, we spent every evening there looking at the stars. The trees have grown so the view is minimal. Our tween girls loved the lower level, it was like they had their own apartment! Everyone slept well, the beds were comfy, on the softer side, not firm. We don’t cook on vacation, we only heat up leftovers and have quick breakfasts. If you need cereal bowls, I’d bring some paper ones, there are only 3 decent ones in the cabin. I brought extra tall kitchen trash bags, paper towels and toilet paper. The cabin was super clean. The parking is fine although it is tricky with 2 cars to turn around to leave. Also, I cannot say enough about the staff and their quick responses to our questions. Now let’s talk bears. On day 2, my granddaughter spotted them from the corner of the lower deck. A big mama and 2 cubs came out of the woods by the fire pit and slowly walked behind the cabin and down the road. They were beautiful and cute to see, and were so quiet. We know they were around, paw prints on the car door and poop by the trash cans, but we only saw them that one day. We had a great week at Bearadise Ridge!

The neighborhood was quiet and semi-secluded. There was a cabin below us and you could hear what was being said which somewhat disturbed the peacefulness of the property. The weather was perfect for the whole trip. The cabin was accessible to our elderly family members. We enjoyed fishing in the pond located in the neighborhood. The only drawback was the driveway. The firepit took up a good portion of the parking area so with two cars, it took several turns to get turned around to head out the driveway. The toilets were too low to the floor. The bathtub on the bottom level was deep and could have used a grab bar on the side to help with getting out. The kitchen was well stocked, and the appliances seemed to be new. The furniture was comfortable. We saw plenty of wildlife in the area. The cabin was one of the cleanest we have stayed in, though it could have used a dusting. We were offered the chance to arrive a day early and stay an extra day which we accepted. It was hard to leave. We appreciated the communication and quick responses from Red Door. Good experience and will try and book through them for future trips. Would highly recommend this property and would consider booking it again.

Had an amazing time. Very close to Great Smokey Mtn National Park Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Mgmt very attentive to any needs we may have. Pool and hot tub a plus

Nice cabin with a lot of space. Very nice for a family vacation.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. My daughter loved playing pool with the family. We also enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. Never used the hot tub, but it was always ready for use.

Just as an introduction, the issues with this property really stay with the accommodations/amenities for the most part, so I don't want to take away from the cabin itself, but more with the management/amenities of the cabin. First, this is not owned by your standard vacation rental family. This is very much a company, which I did not pay close attention to and was my first mistake. The company was not very accommodating and I will elaborate: I asked if we could come one (1) hour early and the response was just rather crass: "Your cabin will be ready at 4". I thought to myself, well okay then..." No biggie, but usually it would be accompanied with some mediocre excuse at the least. We arrived after 4pm, and the cabin itself was nestled in a nice area and the cabin itself was very pretty. It was consistent with the photographs and was spacious. After settling in, we began to use the home as our own. We filled the first garbage bag and used one roll of paper towels on the first night. We scoured the cabin for a replacement of said supplies to no avail. I emailed the company for additional supplies and the response I received was: "That is all that is provided with the starter pack." One garbage bag - one paper towel roll (We have six guests, mind you). The morning came and I could not find a coffee filter for the morning coffee. This home had three coffee pots. So, I asked about a coffee filter, and the response was: "That is not included in the starter pack." We had to go purchase a slew of supplies for this house, which is what we've always been provided in any of our other numerous VRBO stays. Petty, maybe, but it just comes across as extremely cheap and penny-pinching. Other than the management, the "backyard" is rather unusable due to the steep pitch. The garbage cans outside filled up in two days or so with no remedy. If you want to use the fireplace inside then I suggest you open all of the doors/windows because the whole house smelled like smoke for two days. Only one of the pool sticks had a tip. The stairway leading to the basement smelled like a thirteen-year-old Labrador/Husky mix slept on each step every day for a year (emphasis on it smelled like dog). The cabin is in a great area, but with the saturation of cabins in the area, I would not use "Red Door Getaways". -Hazime & Herndon Families

We booked this cabin for a friends getaway. The cabin was just as described in the listing. There was an issue that came up and the property manager handled it quickly and efficiently. We would book this cabin again.

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the house had everfything we could ask for. The drive was an adventure - up and down the mountainside. We discovered a bat in my daughter's room (the upstairs room), which made our last night an exciting albeit scary one (for my daughter). Overall, I would highly recommend Bearadise Ridge!

The cabin is beautiful! It has an amazing view! The drive up isn't so bad either. There was so much room for the whole family. Everyone had there own space. The kitchen had everything we needed including seasoning. The beds were comfortable. Any questions I had they responded quickly. Even when I couldn't figure out the dishwasher. Lol! The kids enjoyed the hot tub and the game area! It's right in the middle of everything. About 30 min to anything we wanted to do! There was even a lift right down the road that we found on a trip out. We will definitely be staying here again!

We really enjoyed our time a Bearadise Ridge. The house was comfortable and spacious. There were five of us, all adults, and we felt we had plenty of space for time together and apart from each other. We were able to enjoy the hot tub and relax with the view. We did get a visit from a bear (it walked through the yard below the deck) so definitely head the warnings and don't leave our any food. It was great to see him from a distance. Anytime we had questions before our stay it was easy to make a call and get an answer right away. Great customer service! We even inquired about the bed after our stay because it was the most comfortable vacation bed we've experienced, and we got a prompt response letting us know where we could find one. This location is remote, but still close enough to enjoy visiting Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg if that is what you want to do. The community pool and fishing are we're great too. Overall we all have great things to say about staying at bearadise ridge. We definitely would recommend it!

Our family was excited to finally be able to go back on vacation to the Smokey Mountains after a long hard year of COVID. We pulled up to the cabin and remarked on the beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately, when we entered the cabin, our excitement turned to extreme disappointment. Our stay at Bearadise Ridge was not the best, which put a damper on our vacation. When we arrived, after traveling for 11.5 hours, we noticed that the cabin was very dirty, the towels were dirty and I had to rewash them, there was caked on dust everywhere, used tissues on the floor, a grape on the floor in the bedroom, mold by the showers, dirty sheets that I stayed up until after midnight to rewash, broken ice machine, carpet on the stairs that is coming away from the stairs themselves (fall hazard), dishes in the cabinets that were dirty (greasy, food stuck on), a broken sink drain, a dishwasher that didn't clean the dishes unless you cleaned them before putting them in the washer, and the list could go on. Natasha offered to have the cleaning crew come back out; however, my family and I had already taken it upon ourselves to clean the best we could. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. Not to mention, nervous about our stay in a dirty cabin with the COVID ramping up. I will say that Natasha quickly answered our emails; however, we were not offered any solutions until the next day each time we emailed/texted/called with a challenge. She did ask for pictures, which I sent of some of the issues we discussed. The cleaning crew dropped off "clean" towels on our porch the next afternoon; however, I had already re-washed the others, as we needed to shower. One evening it rained very hard and there was a leak in our bedroom, next to our bed, which soaked the floor and got on my husband's sleep machine. We were told to put a trash can where the leak was to catch the rain and that they could send someone the next day if we thought it was necessary. I do not feel that this was an adequate solution, as I am the guest who has paid money, and a cleaning fee, to stay in a cabin with my family to enjoy a much-needed vacation. I believe it is the property manager's duty to ensure that the guest's stay is safe, clean, and enjoyable. I am generally not a picky individual when it comes to where we stay on vacation; however, the challenges we had at Bearadise were just too many not to speak up about. I will say that the location of this cabin is perfect and very quiet. However, I would remark that the cabin is in desperate need of updating, cleaning, and repair.
