We stayed here for two nights in the middle of winter. Even with temperatures dropping to -20°C outside, the chalet remained incredibly warm and cozy inside. The fireplace is wonderful and adds a great atmosphere. The location is excellent, with the Imatran Kylpylä Spa just a short walk away. The hosts were very responsive to messages. A big plus for drivers: the parking area is equipped with outlets for engine heaters, which was a lifesaver in the cold.
There is a minor technical nuance regarding the heating system: the electric radiators automatically turn off while the sauna stove is actively heating up. As soon as the sauna heater switches off (or cycles down), the radiators turn back on. It didn't affect the overall temperature or our comfort, but it is something to be aware of.
