About this house rental

ake in the sweeping mountain views while staying in this historic country schoolhouse. Oak Haven is 1600 sq ft of living space; included with your stay is a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of dishes and pans, as well as spices and coffee. The property is a fully renovated and modernized school building from the 1920's with original maple floors and huge windows so you wake up to lots of natural light.

We really enjoyed our stay in the historic schoolhouse. The property was very clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The surrounding area was so pretty, and we’d love to come back to visit some of the nearby wineries. It was about a 35 minute drive to Charlottesville where we were visiting our son for UVA family weekend. Next time, we’ll make sure we have more time to spend in the property and nearby.

Great communication with the owners from beginning to end. Well appointed, airy, and absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommended for a relaxing weekend.

Very clean and comfortable. The amenities were very nice. The only issue was the shower head in the Master bedroom, stand up shower...it shot a hard steady stream out of the center nozzle hole. couldn't use it. :( I would highly recommend to my friends. :) Mr. K. Johnson, Suffolk, Va.
