The house is located in a small, peaceful village which, as the lovely owner told us, has around 60 residents. The house has two floors: on the ground floor there is a kitchen area, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, while upstairs there is a communal living space with a TV and board games.
The interior is tastefully decorated, with many references to the fairy tale Hansel and Gretel, after which the house takes its name. :) It has most of the amenities you could need, including a fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and iron. Portable fans are also available, which is especially useful on hotter days (there is no air conditioning in the house).
Outside, there is a lovely, well-furnished patio where you can have breakfast, enjoy a barbecue (using the built-in barbecue oven), or simply sit back and admire the stars at night. :)
The owner, who lives right next door, is a very kind person, and communication with her was very easy. We were pleasantly surprised to find snacks, coffee, tea and milk left for us. (Best wishes to you, your husband and daughter! :)
The only thing we missed was having internet access via Wi-Fi.

La casa estaba totalmente equipada: menaje, ropa de capa, enseres, productos de aseo... además del detalle de dejar productos para el desayuno. La anfitriona nos dio todas las facilidades para todo.
La calefacción mediante radiadores funcionaba genial, no pasamos ningún frío sin tener que poner la estufa siquiera.
La TV pequeña tenía un volumen máximo muy bajo y la del salón superior tenía problemas de señal y era necesario andar moviendo el cable de la antena.
Aunque no sea de la casa en si, lo dejamos como aviso o consejo para personas que quieran huir de fuegos artificiales y petardos en época navideña con sus mascotas. Fuimos con nuestro perro, que es algo miedoso, para evitarlos y tuvimos que sufrirlos bastante cerca pese a ser un sitio alejado.
