Great stay if you have a car as we did. Loved the hosts and the pool. Would stay there again.

Close to town and ideal if you have a car. The hosts made the stay and are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was your typical European breakfast but was very tasty still.

If you don’t have a car this would be a tougher spot to stay relative to Cassis Center. There are bikes but a little more challenging to use due to the road to town being a narrow road with traffic. Also the property is in a remote area so walking or biking back after dark could be a challenge to some.

A true Cassis secret

The place was absolutely idyllic. The house was beautiful and charming and the property was very peaceful. We loved that there were only 3 rooms, so it felt very intimate. Our room was the largest with a private terrace, which we loved so much! Alain and Jenny were so kind and gracious and they were perfect hosts.

The wifi was not great for us, as we were the farthest room from the kitchen where the router was. It could be improved because we couldn't do basic things like send emails with two devices in the room!

Our room and private Balcony were wonderful. The house, gardens and pool were relaxing and delightful. Our hosts were charming and helpful and the breakfast was a delight. Perfect.

A beautiful escape from busy Cassis but only a 2 minute drive into town. The hosts Alain and Jenni were absolutely gorgeous. Nothing was a problem! The breakfast was exceptional!! A great highlight. The pool fabulous and a very clean property. We would definitely recommend!

A minor issue but we would have preferred a fixed shower head rather than a hand held shower head. Plus a couple of drinking glasses in the rooms would be good.

The place has only 3 rooms, with a max of 6 guests so you receive a personalised and very attentive service. The hosts are laser focused on making sure the guests feel like in a family. Breakfast is amazing, prepared with a lot of creativity, care and talent.

Superb

Alain and Jenny went out of their way to make our stay the best. Breakfast requests, alone time at the secluded pool, the wonderful gardens! Such a hideaway. Being away from town and restaurants, they brought us pizza by the pool, and even escorted us to town to help us find parking in crowded Cassis. The room was large and sparkling clean too.

The only downside was being a bit too far from restaurants for two seniors like us.

Tranquil spot with a beautiful outdoor space and a lovely couple who feel like friends.

Alain and Jenny were wonderful hosts. They met us on arrival in the driveway to help carry our luggage. They gave us a choice between 2 different rooms; either would have been perfect. We opted for the bright room with a lovely patio. You can see that Alain takes great pride in tending to the gardens as they are thriving beautifully. He even took us on a tour, shared some of his gardening tips/tricks and talked about plans to plant more. Such a friendly couple and easy to chat with even with the language barrier as we don't speak French. The entire property with it's enchanting outdoor space is pretty as a picture. I actually renamed Alain the Michelin star gardener :O) Breakfast was also delightful - fresh breads and croissants, local jams and honey, cheese, charcuterie, and amazing espressos plus fresh squeezed OJ on another lovely patio outside the kitchen. We didn't use the pool due to temperature (wasn't warm enough yet) but it was super inviting. We enjoyed everything about our stay from the beautiful grounds to the charming room, comfortable bed and the exceptional hospitality. Would highly recommend.

We would definitely stay at Le Mas du Perthus again.

We loved everything about Le Mas du Perthus. The 250 year old house was charming. Our room was lovely and spacious and opened to the spectacular gardens and pool. Alain and Ginny, our innkeepers, were wonderful hosts and made us feel very much at home. By the time we left, we felt like we were leaving friends.

Le Mas du Perthus was a wonderful place to stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to help us and to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The grounds are incredibly beautiful and the pool is magnificent! Such a lovely place to relax. There are bikes available that make getting into downtown Cassis very easy and it is a beautiful ride into town passing vineyards. They even gifted us a bottle of beautiful local wine as it was our honeymoon. The breakfasts are also tremendous. Highly recommend staying here

Fantastic pool & gardens

The property was exceptional, as was the hospitality. The hosts were amazing, very friendly and clearly take very good care of the place. Make sure you allow yourself some time to relax by the pool in the gardens, which are bustling with plentiful butterflies and bees. Breakfast was great with a good selection of sweet and savoury. Perfect if you have a car and need somewhere to park. Would highly recommend the Manon des Sources suite (with private terrace garden) as it was super romantic and private. Thanks again for a perfect stay! If we ever come back to Cassis we’ll stay here again for sure.

Hidden gem - a perfect stay minutes from Cassis

Very welcoming and hospitable staff. Beautiful and spacious bedroom, bathroom and terrace. Extremely clean. Fabulous pool. Full kitchen available to guests (coffee makers, refrigerator, oven/stove, sink, and utensils). Private grounds; we felt as though we had the facility all to ourselves. We were welcomed with a complimentary bottle of champagne. An amazing find.

Mas du Perthus ist ein wundebarer Ort.

Das Frühstück war jeden Morgen liebevoll angerichtet, immer wieder ein bisschen anders. Es wurde uns auf dem privaten Sitzplatz serviert. Die Gastgeber waren sehr aufmerksam und grosszügig. Die Küche zur Mitbenutzung und den Kühlschrank haben wir ebenfalls sehr geschätzt. Wir haben ins rundum wohl gefühlt, vielen Dank!

Leider liegt der lauschige private Sitzplatz zu dieser Jahreszeit (September) oft im Schatten. Das Mas du Perthus liegt sehr schön gelegen, aber etwas ausserhalb, so dass wir das Auto benutzt haben, um ins Dorf zu kommen. Cassis hat ein gut geregeltes Parksystem, es gibt mehrere Parkhäuser rund ums Zentrum. Diese sind jedoch ziemlich teuer. Man könnte jedoch auch die hauseigenen Fahrräder benutzen…
