good location nice garden some of the staff are nice liked the balcony with the hammock

no soap provided in room poor breakfast bad wifi in room hot water finished after few minutes and the pressure was low room 12 right above the kitchen and all the smell of fried food get inside the room it is not a 3* as rated, and the price i paid felt for me too high for the value

Very beautifull area with the garden & great view to the other mountainside. Friendly staff & best transfer price if you need one organized to somewhere by private car. Perfect if you enjoy being further away from the town & closer to the jungle including the swim spot at the river (1min away).

We had a wonderful time at the Garden Inn. They were so helpful in confirming all the booking arrangements in advance, including our transfers and jungle trek (which all worked brilliantly). The rooms are cosy and well ventilated (with good fans) which helps manage the temperature. Good bathrooms also. It’s a fabulous setting and location - we actually saw an orangutan in the trees across the river directly opposite the hotel! Monkeys come and play on the balcony (need to be alert to that!) and you certainly feel immersed in the jungle. We did the 2 day 1 night trek arranged through the hotel with Kanopi Sumatra, which was an absolute highlight. All in all an extraordinary and very memorable experience.

A little more variety for breakfast would be welcome.

Easy to get around. The hammock. The organised trekking.

The shower which only trickle water out. At times it’s empty due and we had to wait for the tank to refill. The mosquito netting on the two single beds were horrible. It wasn’t setup properly and doesn’t cover the bed properly. Our room is right next to the path and those motorbikes are loud so I had to wear ear plugs to sleep.
