An address to remember

Very warm and friendly owners who welcomed us in their nice townhouse and made us feel at home. You have the attic space all to yourself, including a living room, bathroom and two separate bedrooms. Extremely comfortable bed (and i don’t say that a lot)! Everything is spotlessly clean. You can use the garden if you like. There’s plenty of parking in the nearby square of this small village. There’s a lot to do in the area. For the ones who love to walk, we did the climb to the cave of Saint-Pilon, in the ‘massif de la Sainte-Baume’. On a sunny day, absolutely stunning. The next day we visited the wonderful village of Bormes-les-Mimosa and on the same day, walked a part of the beachpath (sentier du littoral). Thank you again Elisabeth et Philippe for your hospitality!

We loved the location, which was near family in Camps la Source so the convenience was great.

The breakfast was okay. We had it one morning and then decided to skip breakfast the rest of the visit.

When we arrived the owner was not willing to give us the two bedrooms that we had agreed to rent from her. I had to insist that we wanted both bedrooms and were paying for two bedrooms, per the printed agreement. She was going to charge us more, which I did not think was right. She ended up not charging us more, but it left a bad first impression.

Feel like home

Great place to stay. We felt at home. If you need a 1-night stay on your way somewhere - you can order dinner. You won't need to look for any restaurant nearby and Elisabeth cooks well. Hosts have described all possible issues in advance (e.g. staircase hardly accessible by people with disabilities, or that there is a dog and a cat, so if we have an allergy it is better to look for smth else) - that is why our expectations were met completely.

WiFi speed is not great, so it is ok to have a short call with family, but not working. This is a place for a rest :)

Pity we only stayed 1night.

The arrival was welcoming, immediately making us feel comfortable in new surroundings, what wonderful hosts Elizabeth and Philipe are. They immediately offered us space in their garage for our three motorbikes. After a very friendly chat aided by Elizabeth’s English we felt really at home. They then made a reservation for us at the local restaurant. Breakfast was delightful situated in the garden before the sun had risen too much. Cannot recommend this highly enough an absolute treasure of a location. The rooms, space and location ideal.

Host is really friendly and helpful, pity we stayed one night only. Easy parking, really beautiful apartman and garden in a quiet place. Small playground next to house. Roof a little low, be careful if you are tall. Breakfast is really delicious.

For young children, they put a fence on the stairs. Madame's handmade dinner in the garden was very delicious with fresh ingredients, and the handmade aperitif was also the best. The children played leisurely in the large garden. Breakfast was also great. I want to visit this wonderful house again with my kind host!

Home away from home, hidden away

Elisabeth and Philippe immediately greeted us like old friends, rather than clients! When we asked about local dining options and were told that only one cafe with a big terrace existed in the village, we expressed concerns about smoking, as I have asthma. "Pas de souci," Elisabeth said, and offered to make us a simple meal in the garden; what a lovely evening, which ended with sharing stories and an apertif with our hosts. The upstairs rooms are lovely (watch your heads for the beams, though!) and perfect for our group of one couple plus a dear friend. We will definitely return!

Our pillows were a bit more suited for sitting than for sleeping. It might be nice to put a small recycling sack or bin in the rooms, too, along with a larger waste basket.

The breakfirst has various kinds and is delicious. We lived on the third floor and our living room is spacious.

Belle escapade dans les villages du haut Var

Accueil très chaleureux. On se sent comme accueilli en famille au 2 eme étage de cette maison de village occupée par nos hôtes. Très propre, lits très confortables

Des "lauriers" sont à attribuer à Elisabeth et Philippe pour leur accueil.

Le petit déjeuner est un moment très particulier aux Lauriers : chaleureux, convivial, agréable, varié et nourrissant. La propreté de la maison, la décoration et le jardin sont un régal. Les animaux de compagnie se sentent rapidement en sécurité.

Difficile à améliorer placer les chambres du 2ème en rez-de-chaussée ou ou au 1er !!!
