About this house rental
FAMILY-FOCUSED GETAWAY in a quiet neighborhood! Come for a weekend getaway, or stay for an extended vacation! Our home is situated on Lake Lanier, just 20 minutes from the Tryon International Equestrian Center and perfectly located for exploring the quaint little towns of Tryon, Landrum, and Saluda, or taking daytrips to Asheville, Hendersonville, and Greenville (about 30-45 minutes away).
The property boasts a private dock for swimming, floating, fishing, or simply enjoying the view. Explore the lake on our seven kayaks located in the boathouse for your enjoyment. We also have a backyard firepit and outdoor gas grill as well as an outdoor shower for those who want to rinse off before heading inside.
Our home is located in a private, peaceful neighborhood, so quiet hours from 10:00p-8:00a are essential.
As you come in the front door on the main level, you will find a spacious modern chef's kitchen including a central island, double oven, and many other amenities. The dining table seats 12 comfortably, and there is a screen porch overlooking the lake. The master suite (with private bath) is also on the main level and has a separate door to the screen porch.
Upstairs, there are three bedrooms (each with a queen bed). The third bedroom has a crib as well. A washer and dryer are also located upstairs for your use.
In the basement is a second master suite (with a king bed and private bath) and a large family area with sofas and chairs for watching TV or movies. There is also an abundance of board games as well as a ping-pong table for your enjoyment.
A large cement driveway and parking area will easily accommodate six cars. Towels and linens are included. Also, for your convenience there is wireless high-speed Internet available throughout the house. A grocery store is located less than 1/2 mile away.

Perfect place for a quick family getaway! Nice and quiet, wonderful place to truly decompress. Our group ranged from 40-10 years old, and there was something for everyone! The kids are already asking to come back!

It is a great house! Perfect for a big family. We spent Thanksgiving here and had everything we needed! We hope to book it again next year!

We absolutely LOVED our stay Bergsjo! Ellen was proactive in messaging us with details and information prior to our stay and immediately responded when I reached out with questions. She was so helpful and communicative! The house was gorgeous and immaculate. It was very well stocked with everything we needed, and more! The design and layout afforded plenty of space for togetherness but also allowed privacy with bedrooms spread across the three levels. The rooms were all well appointed and spacious, and the beds were super comfy. We loved sitting on the boathouse dock, enjoying coffee and admiring the beautiful lake setting. We were lucky to be there during peak leaf week! The color was glorious! There is also a great lakeside firepit stocked with firewood too! My only complaint is that we didn't get to stay longer and take advantage of the kayaks available! This was one of my best VRBO experiences. I will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time at the house with our children and grandchildren - no reason to leave the property for a couple days! We hung out on the dock and enjoyed the water - loved the kayaks! In the evenings we had corn hole tournaments, sat around the firepit or on the deck out over the water. Highly recommend this home!
