About this farm stay rental
Two regions merge into one world in the panorama that can be enjoyed from here and the two houses, called Canipaia and Roggio in memory of an ancient language used by the local farmers, have been restored in the strictest respect for local materials and traditions.
The happy geographic location of Castelrotto allows our guests to easily visit historic and beautiful places, also the splendid Terme di San Casciano dei Bagni will make them enjoy further well-being. Good food and excellent wines will brighten your stay here.
Harmoniously inserted among olive groves and vineyards, the Castelrotto Farmhouse combines Tuscan tradition with modern comforts. Dating back to the seventeenth century in its oldest part, it was a possession of the Church until 1860, when it was acquired by the family to become a farmhouse until the 1960s. Here passed the ancient "Roman road", an alternative to the more comfortable but unhealthy streets of the valley floor, for which the marbles reached the factory of the Cathedral of Orvieto.
A pleasant feeling of tranquility and the spectacular view of two merging regions await you.
Two houses for a total of 12 beds equipped with everything necessary for a pleasant and comfortable stay. The 5000 square meters of garden will allow you to fully enjoy the incomparable panorama that you can enjoy from here.
The largest house, called Roggio, is accessed by a wide staircase, the house is on one level and has four double bedrooms, two bathrooms, one of which is ensuite, a service bathroom, kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, large , pleasant living room with fireplace and outside, in the large garden, its own private space.
La Canipaia, on the other hand, is a house on two levels with direct access to the garden where it has a large dedicated space. On the ground floor are the kitchen, equipped with washing machine and dishwasher, the service bathroom, the fireplace and a large living room. The first floor houses two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two twin beds and a bathroom with a whirlpool bath.
