About this apartment rental

These newly refurbished holiday cottages are situated on an elevated site overlooking Dingle Harbour in County Kerry. Dingle Harbour Cottages is a short 5-minute stroll from Dingle Town on the scenic Dingle Peninsula. In total there are 20 holiday cottages; 14 holiday cottages sleep 6 guests and 6 of our holiday cottages sleep 7 guests comfortably.



The recently renovated kitchen, with its colourful cupboards and new countertops, radiates warmth and cosiness. The ground-level and first-floor bathrooms have also undergone extensive renovations. To create a light and open ambience, each bathroom now includes a walk-in shower and modern ceramic appliances. These well-positioned holiday rentals now have a contemporary, rejuvenated feel.

These pretty seaside cottages with brightly coloured doors have 3 bedrooms and sleep 6 guests comfortably.

Double glass sliding doors lead from the living room area to the rear garden. Our younger self-catering guests will enjoy playing games on the large green surrounding this cul-de-sac of holiday accommodation in Dingle. Alfresco dining is an option too as each holiday cottage has a picnic bench situated outside the front door.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Heating and Electricity:

This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. Please check with the local Owner/ Property Manager before arrival how this is calculated or before making the booking.



2. Security Deposit:

A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid before check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of the year this can increase to €500 per property.



3. Towels:

Towel sets are available upon request at a small charge. Please contact our Call Centre or the Property Manager to arrange (you will find the Property Manager's contact details in the Arrival Info document sent to you in the final payment confirmation).

    Everything was great except a spider in the sheets and another in the bathroom and we stayed on a day of storms so we couldn’t see the views. Trying to contact management was hard only because of my not knowing how to contact internationally. We are going to return during the sunny months and stay here again. Once we got in touch with Deirdre Murphy she was sweet and with to respond.

    Everything about this place was perfect for us, the space was more than adequate and the cottage had everything we needed. Dierdre was very accommodating regarding our arrival time and the location was ideal, with spectacular views of the bay. Yes there is a small hill up to the house but if you have an issue with hills then you probably shouldn’t come to Dingle! We would definitely stay here again

    We’ve stayed at multiple homes around the world and have always had a great experience. This was not the case here. The positives: The cottage was close to town and was clean. Looked great from the outside. Not great: Simple interior at best. Communication was terrible. Booked through VRBO but they won’t help you with answering any questions. They refer you to Trident Holiday Homes. The host reminded us many times that she works limited hours of 10-4 Monday through Friday. Doesn’t really work when check in is demanded after 5:30 and during a 2 hour window. No directions about how to lock the doors, use the washing machine, drying clothes-tried for 1.5 hours and clothes were still wet, plates broken, refrigerator loud, dishwasher loud and toilets loose. No coffee maker or Keurig, a few rolls of toilet paper and must buy napkins, laundry soap and even salt and pepper. Found ourselves googling how to use things that a simple manual would have helped. Don’t make the mistake of not having a WhatsApp account as you won’t get anywhere with the host (we learned you need to leave the 353 off the invite for it to be sent to her). Never heard from the “host” she never checked in upon arrival and never checked in upon departure. We still had a great time in Dingle, it’s a wonderful town but communication feel far short of normal. Try somewhere else.

    Great location, walkable to cute village- food, grocery, not walkable to the beach. We ate dinners out and made easy lunch and breakfast. Small fridge and freezer. Beds were comfortable.
