After four years of hands-on building and design, it’s become a perfect blend of comfort, craftsmanship, and Alaskan charm.

Talkeetna remains an Alaskan "bush" community. Do not expect manicured lawns but the cabin is well furnished with a good bed, internet and tv. I don't think we used the tv but it is available. It is an interesting town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Talkeetna at the Marlin House. It was the perfect Valentine’s Day getaway from the big city. The cabin was easy to locate. It was clean and cozy and warm! Communicating with the host was great! We will definitely book there again and recommend the Marlin House to visitors from the lower 48. Thank you!

The Marlin House is just as described online. The king bed was very comfy (and I'm a bit of a bed snob) and the house was perfect for our one night stay. It's not fancy, but it's clean and comfortable. Just what I was looking for!
