Kenmare is a lovely friendly town and the restaurants are excellent. The house is in a great location and perfectly set up for a family. However I would say that there’s not a great deal for children to do in the area.
Though the house was furnished with everything we needed, the first impression was unfortunately a damp and musty feeling. It was all clean on the surface but under beds and sofas was very dusty, teacloths were smelly once wet and towels were a bit old. A bit of a shame. Feels like it’s in need of a refresh.
