A meticulously refurbished cottage built in 1892 for Frank Lloyd Wright's eldest Aunt, Margaret Lloyd-Jones. With two bedrooms, a sitting room and a full bathroom upstairs, full kitchen, living room, and a half bath downstairs, the house can sleep up to eight people.
The house stands in sight of Hillside School, Romeo and Juliet, and Tan-y-deri, just south of the Wisconsin River in Spring Green, Wisconsin. This location provides easy access to Taliesin, and the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center, American Players Theater, two State Parks, and the many activities in the town of Spring Green.

Wonderful stay! Right in the middle of the action for the All Wright event going on at Taliesin. Host communication was very friendly and helpful. Aunt Margaret’s House was the perfect retreat for my All Wright weekend!

Property manager was incredibly generous with an early check-in. Directions for entry and requirements throughout the house were clearly spelled out. Very pretty rustic and historic property. I Wi-Fi in that area can be spotty depending upon your carrier, in my case it was Verizon which had poor service. The property had a landline phone which was critical as my granddaughter needed to be seen by medical personnel. Without that landline we would have been lost trying to find an appropriate health provider. I believe the listing indicates the property sleeps up to eight people but I would imagine that would be a tight fit. The property was truly historic in nature given the local surroundings and its association with Frank Lloyd Wright. I would definitely stay again when visiting the area
