About this house rental
Welcome to DOOR 42! Our home is located on the north side of Sister Bay right on the main drag. You and your group are just a short 1.5 mile drive down the hill and into town. Seconds away awaits a trip to the beach, park or a meal at any of Sister Bay's fine restaurants as well as coffee and ice cream shops! Our cottage is perfect for couples and families.
The house is full of Door County character and offers plenty of space for your retreat. Feel free to message me if you are interested in finding out more!
We have provided some literature for the surrounding areas including restaurants, maps, breweries etc. Hopefully they can be of some help! One of our favorite restaurants for scenery is the Boat House, Chop, and The Wickman House. Great breakfast is served at Viking Grill, Ellison Bay or Caroll’s Restaurant here in Sister Bay.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It was clean, well maintained and perfectly located to enjoy Door County.

We enjoyed our stay at this home and would recommend it to others! The location was close to Sister Bay yet tucked away from the chaos. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable and we were impressed at the capability of the hot water heater- 4 people showered in a row and plenty of hot water to be had. We found it odd that there were no clocks in any of the bedrooms. We also tried to put clothing away in the furniture but all of them were full of spare bedding. Just a few areas for improvement that may improve the stay for others. In summary a great VRBO rental!

This was a nice place, good layout, lots of firewood good location.
However, they did not have coffee available upon arrival and the cleaning person/owner arrived at 9:30. Thirty minutes before check out and sat in the car. It made everyone very uncomfortable at the end.
