About this cottage rental
Great place for couples, families with kids and business travelers. Two pull out couches sleeps up to 4. One bath with tile shower, outside deck with beautiful views and dock access. Sorry No Pets

Great location. The Lake itself is gorgeous-- crystal clear water that's easily swimmable (not too cold).
Our cottage is only 50 yards from the lake.
This completely new inside cottage is fully equipped with all your needs.
Access to private dock - boat lift available for an additional $75 fee provided it is available. Check on the availability when making your reservation. The dock goes in the third week of May and out the third week of September
Public beach just up the hill along with Pizza King, Ice Cream and the Pub.
Within 20 minutes Golf, Go Kart Track, Put Put Golf, Movie Theatre and Out Let Shopping
Close proximity to Fort Wayne, South Bend, Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Toledo, and Cedar Point. If you want to map it, the address is 663 South Clear Lake Drive, Fremont, Indiana 46737.

-Please treat this as your own home during your stay
-No Pets are allowed.
-No Smoking inside the cottage please. Smoking outside only. All butts or other remnants must be removed or trashed appropriately by Guest before check out.
-QUIET enjoyment of the outdoors is A MUST (our neighbors Thank You)
-Loud or disruptive behavior WILL jeopardize your ability to return.
-No open flames in the house, including candles
-Must be at least 25 years old to book
-Quiet time 10pm to 10 am
Notify us if any issues arise. We'd rather try to get the issue fixed rather than have the quality of your stay compromised. Let us know if you have any questions!
Make yourself comfortable, but please be considerate of our home and neighbors. Children are welcome, but house is not "child-proofed". No smoking or illicit drugs on premises. NO PETS. Gatherings welcome, no rowdy parties please. Kindly leave premises as you found them, strip beds and leave dirty linens in the utility room. Extra cleaning & trash disposal fees may be added. IN fishing laws apply.
Parking is limited to 1 vehicle in the yard. You are not permitted to park at the public access. That is for fisherman. There is extra space available in the yard across the street.
Garbage: Please stow all garbage in the receptacle located at the back of the house.
Please let us know if anything is missing, broken or if there is any problem whatsoever.
Security Deposit - if you damage the home, you may be charged up to $200

We were invited o a party on Clear Lake and decided instead of making the 1.5 hour trip home after the party - to make a weekend of it. Cheryl and Brad were wonderful hosts. The place was spotless and so very cute. Just what we needed! We will definitely rent from them again!

It was very quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The cottage had everything we needed and the ad stated what to bring.

We loved the location of this little cabin. We could easily walk to the beach or for ice cream! Our granddaughter and I enjoyed playing in the water, watching the lake at the boat launch, and just wandering around the area. We used the picnic table with our craft box to draw and color. The location was exactly what we wanted.
One downside to the home is the beds. We knew they were sofa sleepers - however, the one closest to the door was extremely uncomfortable. I could feel the bars through the mattress. We should have brought along our air mattress! Our granddaughter slept in the one closer to the kitchen and was comfortable (granted she is 6 and had been running and playing all day).
Our other issue was no hot water. We ran the faucet forever trying to get warm water to wash our dishes. We finally did the camper "thing" and warmed water on the stove. Based on that - we did not use the shower!
