Immaculate beach house in desirable Green Harbor, directly on Duxbury Beach (biggest and best beach on the South Shore). So close to the ocean, you'll think you're on a boat! Fall asleep to the surf. Wake up to sunrise over the ocean. Enjoy morning coffee on the deck, then take a long walk on the beach. Enjoy sunset in the nicely landscaped back yard. Full house with all amenities, large oceanfront deck and sandy terrrace. Your private retreat, near Boston and Cape Cod, but away from it all...
Upstairs: Three bedrooms with direct ocean views. Luxurious master suite with queen bed, private bath (dual sinks, antique claw-foot tub, two-headed shower) and walk-in master closet. Second bedroom with queen bed, third bedroom with two twin beds. Second and third bedrooms share a full bath with views onto the back yard garden and the marshes beyond.
Downstairs: Spacious living room with end-to-end windows looking out over the ocean, cozy gas fireplace, comfortable couches, large screen TV with deluxe cable package, and an alcove with a rocking chair and windows onto a professionally landscaped back yard. Full kitchen with modern appliances complementing the original antique sink, plus large capacity washer and dryer. Dining room with ocean views. A den off the living room doubles as a study / office, and provides additional sleeping space with a trundle bed (which opens into two twin beds).
Outside: large wrap-around oceanfront deck and sandy terrace. Convenient beach access via public stairs one door down, or public boat ramp three doors down. Professionally landscaped fenced-in back yard with paved walking path, outdoor shower space, and a shed with patio furniture and beach toys.
Large paved driveway with room for 4 vehicles.
Located in a family-friendly residential neighborhood, with year-round residents on either side.
Just a short walk from the house:
- Green Harbor Lobster pound - buy live or steamed whole lobsters, delicious lobster rolls, and fried seafood, french fries and onion rings.
- The "Genny" - an old-fashioned neighborhood general store with penny candy, ice cream treats, deli, groceries, and beer/wine/spirits.
Just a short drive to the restaurants and shops of Brant Rock, and the Supermarket and shops at Webster Plaza.
Families with children welcome.

We had a fabulous stay at this house for me and my sisters families and our mother. It was perfect with little ones too (4 under 4!)! We enjoyed the Coffee Shack just down the road and a few walks on the beach!

This is a beautiful home and my family (5 adults, 1 baby) loved staying here. It is bright, airy, tastefully decorated and was always comfortable during our stay, which had both summer and fall weather. We had relatives over and between the deck and the large living room there was plenty of room for everyone. Perhaps because it was late in the season there weren't stairs down to the beach but a neighbor let us use their stairs and street beach access was only one house away.The biggest problem we had was two houses down the beach seawall was being demolished and on all but one morning we were awakened at 6am by the sound of heavy machinery. This was a drag but when we told the owners they quickly refunded one night of our stay. Other than the construction noise we had a lovely time and would definitely stay here again- it is a special place!

The location of this property was perfect. Even though we had a nor'easter for about two days of our trip, we could watch all the happenings on Cape Cod Bay up close.
