Great location, staff friendly, bar tenders very good. Food great and a lot of choice. Easily accessible.
Shower in room 633 flooded the bathroom. Door lock temperamental.
5.0 / 10.0
The location is the hotel’s main strength: true ski-in/ski-out, which makes a huge difference. A very convenient bonus is the ski rental located directly inside the ski room.
Check-in is supposedly between 17:00 and 20:00 (weirdly late for hotel standards), yet we only got our room at 19:00 after a full day of travel. Check-out is rigidly at 10:00. First time in my life I’m handed a room this late —efficiency is clearly not a priority and the entire place felt chronically understaffed.
The entertainment is relentless, loud, and completely unnecessary. Credit where due: the entertainers give 110%. Unfortunately, no one need this, ever. The constant forced interaction, shows, and extreme speaker volume everywhere —bar, lunch terrace, sunset après-ski— becomes exhausting. Music is fine. Being unable to escape it at any moment of the day is tedious.
The buffet is wildly inconsistent. Out of seven nights, only one was decent. The rest was repetitive, poorly executed, and felt more like fuel than food, with the same items reappearing day after day. The dining hall is deafening, glasses are constantly missing, and several evenings we ate without water or wine simply because none were available.
The room size is acceptable, but the bedding is shockingly low quality. Sheets, mattress, and pillows are among the worst I’ve encountered in Europe. After skiing all day, sleep happened by exhaustion, not comfort. The bathroom setup might work, except both the shower area and WC regularly smelled like kitchen exhaust during meal service —morning and evening— which is frankly unacceptable.
Housekeeping is inconsistent and minimal. Cleaning does not happen daily, and when it does, it stops at making the bed. No actual cleaning.
Drinks follow the same pattern: beer was fine, wine was very poor, cocktails were acceptable according to my partner.

I was slightly dubious about an all inclusive hotel however it was perfect. Every meal sitting had a wonderful choice of food which was well presented, delicious and varied. Each day it was different. Sunset on the terrace with cakes, sweets, crepes and waffles was perfect after a day skiing.
The staff were all friendly and spoke superb English. The ski hire in the hotel was ideal . They were efficient and the locker room worked well with ski in / out. Perfectly located within the town and the Porte du Soleil region.
Although the hotel was busy and a hive of activity it was clean and there were plenty of tables / seating and the rooms quiet. Our room had a stunning view of Avoriaz .
The bar was all inclusive, friendly and efficient however ran out/ didn’t stock some spirits.

the entertaintment was commendable, we visited for a festival that was taking place at the time still, one of our best nights was staying in bel ambra for karaoke night, it felt like a community there and everyone was welcome. the ski in ski out , perfect location. comfy rooms, the perfect size for two . and the view was gorgeous. Thank you belambra
nothing really, maybe for the bins in room to be changed more often. but even that is a minor thing. Thank you

All food and drinks were fantastic.
Location was amazing.
Bar and restaurant etc were nicely refurbed.
Stunning views.
Friendly and helpful staff.
This hotel suits our needs perfectly and I’m sure we will be back for a third stay. Below is just a few things to improve upon to get a 10/10:
Two single beds pushed together. Wish the mattresses could have zipped together because we fell through the gap if you didn’t stay on your own single mattress.
This was our second stay so we brought a little kettle with us to use in our room as my husband likes a cup of tea as soon as he wakes up in the morning.
Fitted sheets would be better as the flat sheets kept coming away and exposing the mattress beneath - not very hygienic (although the mattress looked immaculate).
Tables in bar area need to be cleared and wiped down more often as we’d often sit at one that had sticky drink marks all over it.

Unbeatable location and view. Ski-in/out is easily accessible from Tour lift. Food (buffet) was great and drinks were good as well! Rooms are a tiny bit on the small side, and shower/toilet could use some renovation, but these things may vary room to room. Walls can be a little thin, especially if you have an adjoining room (property mgmt could use some better seals around doors to block out noise). Overall fantastic stay; would recommend for anyone from friend groups to families, whether skiing or not.

The location was good and the room was nice , staff very friendly and good but not enough on the bar and lunch
Staffing levels at the bar a lot of the time 1 persons was making long slow cocktails while lots of managers walked around or the other member of staff would be bottling up or cleaning down rather than serving;
The lunch was pointless as it took so long to get severed I gave up and went out and paid for lunch every day, the burgers for lunch looked amazing but only being able to cook 4 at time for 200 people, pointless,

Average.
We found a baby’s dummy in the bed. A tin of Nivea in the bedside draw, sweets under the bed; and a half eaten biscuit. There was no soap and the toilet paper wasn’t replenished without asking. When I raised the cleanliness on the last day with the hotel staff, the guy on the desk was defensive and I thought it telling that he didn’t even ask me what room I was in. We were in a three person room but the ski room allocation to us was for two.

Location. Ski in/out. The food and drinks. Friendly helpful staff. The views. Our room was nice and big. The interior design in restaurant.
Need bigger sheet for the bed when two singles are zipped together. The sheet was always coming off exposing the mattress beneath it which luckily looked new and immaculate but really should have had a mattress protector on it for hygiene.

Central location but away from the noise. Great facilities and entertainment at the hotel. Our 3-year-old enjoyed the kids club. The food was nice but limited variety. Evening music and quizzes were fun for both kids and adults. Bar served nice cocktails and terrace snacks were great after a day of skiing.
One particular receptionist was very rude. Ski lockers are very small, you get one rail that just about fits 2 pairs of skis. We had to keep one snowboard in the room.

The view from the bedroom over the resort and beyond was superb. Excellent shower cubicle and cleaning service. The evening entertainment was good and varied.
Although the food was good some of it felt like ‘catering packs’ especially the mushy veg. Presumably because it’s for mass catering. The breakfast cereal was basic quality and bland and the scrambled egg was always cold.

All inclusive and very enjoyable...staff were excellent and having wine on tap was good too...
Not much would definitely be back...

This is a really good family hotel, with well laid-out family rooms (twin+double). Relaxed all inclusive style, meant we could have meals when we wanted, snacks on the terrace at 4, and drinks in the bar. They serve e.g., hot chocolates and orangina as well as on-tap beer and wine.
Nice restaurant with views, great buffet food for the family, just need to be disciplined to put together a good meal. Steam room was nice, pool table fun, enjoyed quizzes and games in the bar area, and waffles on the terrace.
Staff were all very helpful, fast and friendly service.
Road clearing meant getting onto the pistes was a bit more difficult later in the week.
We returned for lunch some days, so our room missed being cleaned many days.
Few times, the loud music on the terrace unnecessary, had to retreat to the bar.
More signs/notice about the bar Kahoot quizzes, which would have been fun and work really well with an international audience - we missed the first few, and our French isn't good enough to join in the verbal quizzes.

Location of the hotel was great and staff were friendly in the most part. Great for kids.
Hotel communal areas were not clean (floors); cleaning of the hotel bedrooms was poor. Rooms were too small with limited space to put clothes. Food was average; not much choice for breakfast (and by 9am had all but disappeared). Similar options every evening with not much variety. We ended up eating out a lot. Ski shop in the hotel was awful; quality of the equipment was poor and unprepared (our daughter's ski instructor said her skis had not been prepared for weeks). The guy fitting the ski / snowboard boots in the shop was very unhelpful and rude.

the location that was close to all facilities in the area. The excellent food provided, especially at lunch and dinner! The fact that It’s all inclusive in the real sense of the world. The entertainment provided at the hotel. As well as the overall friendliness of the staff
the cleaning service for the rooms was not the best.I booked two rooms. Was there for five nights. One of those rooms was only cleaned once in that whole five days.Had to eventually go ask for towels and toilet paper!!

the all inclusive offering is lavish and extra. we had a great stay - despite the snow being less than good
lack of cleared tables in dining room and slight queue for hot drinks machine.

its location
Food was very average. not much variety. hot meals often cold ( at best lukewarm). some good meat dishes on occasion. no labels for jams ( up to guests to guess the flavour), soups ( once I saw a label indicating what it was) , dressings…. most critically: No allergen labels. how easy to take a piece of brownie without realising it contains pecan nuts for instance!!!!!!!
