About this house rental
In the heart of the medieval valley, not far from the most remarkable sites of the Dordogne, come and discover the many castles as well as the most renowned sites of prehistory.
Close to Beynac and Castelnaud, I welcome you for a stay in the countryside, on a large property, in a charming, welcoming and independent family house, with a heated swimming pool (open from May to September), can accommodate 6 people. On the first floor, a kitchen open to a large living room is ideal for convivial meals. A traditional fireplace, which can be used in winter, brings a warm character to this space. The first floor consists of three spacious double bedrooms, one equipped with a bathroom and the other two each equipped with their own shower room.
Outside, a large shaded terrace offers a panorama overlooking the property. It is here that you can enjoy the beautiful Périgord evenings, around the barbecue or the plancha. At other times you can share games of petanque, Babington, table tennis and darts.
The house is bordered by stone walls, hedges and other palisades, the wooded garden ensures moments of relaxation tinged with softness, calm and tranquility. The play areas, meanwhile, will delight young and old, for moments to share.
The heated swimming pool slightly away from the house is an intimate place. Its caretaker, the hundred-year-old walnut tree, offers a little coolness at certain times of the day.
Further north, its congener, the lime tree, imposes its protection on the place, while the fig tree welcomes you at the entrance to the property.
It should be noted that my professional office and my accommodation are adjacent to the cottage, which allows me to be discreetly present to feed the animals (dog, cats, chickens and horses) and to answer any questions you may have.
