Very good

Communicating with Rafaella was always very easy and pleasant. Léo who welcomed us, a man always happy and willing to help. The location is perfect, less than 5 minutes walking from the beach, several restaurants, market, pharmacy nearby. We were surprised by the number of steps there were to get to the apartment, but it was worth it, ideal space for a couple, outdoor area and comfortable bed. For the price it was great and I really recommend.

It's not that we didn’t like, but as a way of improvising, it would be nice to have air conditioning in the bedroom.

Very good

Decent apartment in a quiet area of Minori and a few steps from the sea. Owner very accommodating and helpful. Very beautiful terrace with amazing seaview, unfortunately it was not ready for use due to the weather. Nothing was missing except for the shower gel. What is great the parking there and in Costiera is really big problem.

The mattress was not very comfortable, the apartment was on the third floor without a lift (we didn't mind), the air conditioner we had to cleaned and then it worked fine. A little noise.

Superb

Liked the spirit if Minori and some other Amalfi towns. The food and local wines were great as well. Our apartment La Fontanella was a perfect place to stay.

Great location in the beautiful minori, however the price is excessive for something so basic

The host Leo was very friendly when he greeted us at the apartment.

The flat is well located in the beautiful Minori however I was deeply dispapointed to find it so dirty on arrival. The bathroom had been cleaned however the tiled floor in the living room, kitchen and bedroom had not been swept or mopped. After ten minutes walking around the flat my children's white socks were black; you could feel the crumbs and dirt on the floor. I had to spend 40 minutes sweeping and cleaning the floor (on my hands and knees with a dish cloth). Some of the cutlery in the kitchen was also dirty and still had food on it.

Perfect location, superb apartment and perfect for our needs but please get a new mattress!

The location is so perfect, it is close to everything and felt very safe. The apartment has absoluetly everything you need and even a roof terrace! One night we bought pasta from the local pasta man and cooked in the apartment, it really felt authentic. Then went up and watched the sun go down on the terrace with a glass of wine - bliss! The host was on hand via mobile should we needed anything although we didn't have to request anything. The Father met us with the keys and although didn't speak English and I had basic Italian, was kind and we understood what he was telling us. Minouri is a beautiful place and we really enjoyed having somewhere to stay so close and lovely to be able to enjoy the town. Would recommend this place if you are staying in Minouri short term, great for the price.

The bed is pretty bad, as we were staying for 6 nights it really took a toll. It's old and very soft and you end up rolling into the middle. One night I stayed on one of the pull out beds which was sturdier although I would question how often those get cleaned. We did have to make the bed up as the sheets were just left out on top, it wasn't a problem for us but was clear the place needed a little more care when cleaning and prepping for the next person.

The location was good.

The property is very dated. The beds are 30+ years old and very uncomfortable. the power sockets are also not up to date and various adapters are required just to be able to charge devices.

real gem is a great little town

This place should have higher rating. The apartment is spacious, tastefully decorated with a local flair (no standardised ikea-vibe here). It's located in Minori's centre which, though being a small town, means a lot. There are no stairs to climb to reach this place except for the few inside the building. Beach, shops, restaurants can be reached within a few steps. We had no chance meeting the owner and were welcomed by his father who, even though spoke no English, was a charming old man and managed to explain to us how things work. The rooftop has amazing views all over Minori, down to the sea an up to Ravello, beautiful day and night. The Amalfi-coast was packed and crazy even in early October, but Minori is a calm little oasis with just a few tourists and local people going on with their daily lives. I can imagine La Fontanella to be perfect for a week-long, relaxing seaside holiday.

Cleanliness should be improved. This is the only issue we had, everything else was perfect.

Great relaxing stay

This place is located really well. Close to Amalfi but the beach is also nearby. The room and bathroom are clean. Only thing is that we didn’t had wifi. I would recommand this place and come again. Thanks again

I always mean to review a place when we have stayed there but by the time we return home it’s straight back into washings and ironings etc and I forget but I simply had to make time for this review :) my husband and I stayed at La Fontanella with our two children (ages 9 and 4) last week for six nights and we loved it. The absolute best part was Leo, his wife and his daughter Raphaella :) what a lovely lovely helpful family :) although there English was very limited they went above and beyond to accommodate us and ensure our seat was amazing :) we loved the cafe down the stairs Gambardella 👍🏻 superb pastries and coffee at reasonable price for breakfast and great sandwiches for lunch and pasta for dinners 👍🏻 we found eating out all three meals began to get expensive so we often had dinner or lunch as a takeaway (pizza or pasta from one of the local takeaway restaurants) and we ate it up on the roof terrace of La Fontanella :) which was lovely to sit and eat h the light fade with takeaway and wine :)

The property is up three flights of stairs which was torture with the heavy bags initially but was not a problem after that :) also the parking for the apartment is a good walk away from the apartment so your car isn’t too handy. This wasn’t a problem for us as we drive over from Pompeii in our hire car but on seeing the roads on the Amalfi Coast we decided to use the buses and boats whilst we stayed in minori :) Even though these two minor things it did not effect our stay much as the amazing welcome and hospitality from this lovely friendly family would have made up for anything :) we really hope to return to la fontanella one day in the future :)

La sola posizione centrale non basta!!

Posizione centralissima

Pessima la qualità del sonno per via del materasso del letto matrimoniale non adatto a due persone perché estremamente mobile e sussultante (se uno dei due occupanti si gira rischia di buttare di sotto l'altro) . Cuscini pieni di bozzi , molto datati e scomodi . Ho dovuto spostarmi a dormire su una poltrona letto per via del materasso impraticabile e, per far ciò, sin dal primo giorno ho chiesto delle lenzuola singole che non mi sono state date, ma nemmeno si è risposto al mio messaggio (immediatamente letto)se non dopo due giorni. Ho chiesto anche un secondo mazzo di chiavi (porta normalissima , non blindata costo di una chiave max 2€) ma non è stato possibile averlo. Poco collaborativi. E poi la scala (66 Scalini) è estremamente ripida e faticosa e , di notte, con un sistema di illuminazione improponibile se non pericoloso. Non ci tornerò di certo e di certo non lo consiglio. Mi dispiace ma non mi sono sentita considerata e trattata bene , non basta la posizione centrale per fare di una casa vacanze un'ottima casa vacanze.

la cours d'entrée ne rend pas justice au logement, mais l'impression est très bonne quand on arrive au logement
