The Casas de Aldea Peñanes are located in the central area of Asturias, in a small village of the mountain called Peñanes, in the municipality of Morcín, 15 minutes, 14 km from Oviedo.
Casas de Aldea Peñanes is a building of traditional Asturian architecture, dominated by stone and wood, composed of three village houses: Peñanes 1, Peñanes 2 and Peñanes 3.
In particular Peñanes 1 has capacity for 4 people. It has equipped kitchen, dishwasher, living room with fireplace, 2 bathrooms, 2 double rooms overlooking a bread basket with more than 200 years old and the Monsacro and the Sierra del Aramo with its famous L'Angliru cycling port. Outside there is a terrace with a table and wooden benches and a green area with barbecue grill. To share with the other 2 houses there is parking and children's area.

A perfect match for everyone who looks for a beautiful rustic environment in a perfect mountain site. The nicely renovated house on the edge of the small village Penanes delivers spectacular views in between rustic life. The area ist perfect for hiking only a few drivign minutes away from Oviedo. We enjoyed every second! By the way: These are small streets, don´t bring an SUV :-)

A este viaje fuimos cuatro adultos. Nuestra intención fue hacer la senda del Oso por lo que la ubicación para esto era muy buena.
La casa de encuentra en la ladera de una montaña por lo que las vistas son únicas. Si buscas estar rodeado de naturaleza, ésta es tu casa.
Pero si buscas no tener que moverte, el supermercado, tiendas y bares están a dos kilómetros por una carretera de montaña o por un camino bastante empinado andando. Para nosotros la ubicación y la casa han sido perfectas. Es muy amplia para 4 personas, las habitaciones son amplias y cuenta con dos baños completos, uno en la planta baja y otro en la planta de las habitaciones.
La casa está muy muy limpia y nos recibieron con una botella de sidra, lo que nos pareció un muy buen detalle.
La cocina está perfectamente equipada. Microondas, tostadora, vitrocerámica, lavavajillas, lavadora, plancha para la ropa, cafetera y exprimidor de zumo. Además hay una barbacoa y leña para hacer brasas y para la chimenea. No sé si hay secador porque nosotros nos llevamos los nuestros.
La única pega que le pongo es que los sillones no son demasiado cómodos.

En resumen, una estancia perfecta.

Hemos estado 4 dias estupendos pasados por agua. Tiempo típico de Asturias pero aún así nos lo hemos pasado super bien. La casa esta super limpia, bien cuidada y muy calentita. El entorno es super bonito. La recomiendo a todo el mundo
