About this house rental
New Waterfront contemporary in East Hampton, New York with glorious sunsets and all amenities: gourmet kitchen, Italian marble master bedrm suite, Jacuzzi, beautiful green rolling lawn, private beach, 55in flat screen TV, cable, Wi-fi internet, etc. Large deck with panoramic water views, perfect for dining, reading, and watching the sailboats float by.
The house is bright and sunny with siding glass doors, skylights, and sweeping water views from the living room, dinning room, kitchen, master bedroom suite, study, and deck. The nights bring cool breezes and magnificent sunsets that fill the sky.
An ideal retreat for one or two couples with lots of privacy with two en-suite bedrooms on two separate floors. Master bedroom suite, with panoramic water views, occupies entire second floor with queen bed, sofa, white marble bathrm & Jacuzzi/airjet combo. 2nd bedrm has en-suite bath, queen bed, pocket garden, and best ever multi-jet shower. 3rd bedrm with queen bed and marble bath also has lots of privacy because it is on the other side of the house.
Renters have the choice of using either a third bedroom (on the main floor)
or using a writer's study overlooking the water (on the main floor).
Open floor plan, Gourmet Kitchen & top appliances: : The open floor plan on the first floor allows for an easy flow between the living room, dining room and kitchen,
and is ideal for entertaining and enjoying the water views while eating lunch or dinner or visiting with guests.
The entire house has been renovated and has state-of-the-art appliances with 2 zone central air, instant hot water system, front load clothes washer and dryer, hardwood maple floors, etc. The gourmet kitchen includes large refrigerator and freezer (two separate units), Viking range, wall oven, microwave, etc.
The setting: : The house is set on a quiet tree-lined street on the sunset-side of Three Mile Harbor, but is just five minutes from the village of East Hampton and beautiful ocean beaches, organic farm stands, funky art galleries, the John Drew theatre, great restaurants, world-class stores, jam-packed cultural events, and so much more.
East Hampton is the ideal place for a summer vacation with magnificent world famous white-sand bay and Ocean beaches, live theatre (and movies), more than 20 art galleries, and wonderful local farm stands. It has a wide variety of fabulous gourmet restaurants, as well as options for casual dining. Enjoy great boutique shopping, water sports, fishing, kayaking, and biking. The surrounding woods abound with trails and mushrooms.

The best part of our stay was enjoying the gorgeous view. The kitchen is nice and well-appointed. The master bedroom upstairs was spacious and also has the spectacular view. The owner is generous with her helpful suggestions. I do think the home is not quite as nice as the photos suggest. It needs some updating, especially the outdoor areas. We did enjoy our stay for the week.

It feels like paradise! The cool breeze on the deck, the sail boats gliding by… and the beautiful sunsets every night… each one more magnificent than the night before…
The entire house was clean and comfortable and serene. We stayed in the master bedroom suite with the sweeping water views. It has an ensuite marble bath, jacuzzi, and a fancy shower with lots of jets. The king size bed has fine linens and is super comfortable. We had total privacy.
Ellen was a wonderful host. She was quick to answer all our questions and did a great job of taking care of us, and telling us about local restaurants, beaches, theatre, and art galleries, and even the best drug store for an emergency Rx. She also left us menus and maps, and even milk and juice for breakfast.
The house is in a GREAT location, within 10 minutes of the town and the beaches and just about everything else you could possibly want.
We planned to go out for dinners but we didn’t want to miss the spectacular sunsets so we ended up getting excellent take-out meals from Stuarts Seafood and Round-Swamp farm (just down the road) and had the best time ever just hanging out and eating dinner on the deck.
All the bedrooms are comfortable and well stocked with fluffy towels, toiletries and surprise treats.
Even though we didn’t really cook, we enjoyed having the open spacious kitchen. The over-sized refrigerator and freezer allowed us to stock up with everything we needed for our stay.
We would recommend this lovely home to all of our friends and family! and we hope to come back again and again. It is the ultimate five star get-away.
